So many conflicting opinions8 Nov 2022 21:22
Clearly, most of them, and perhaps all of them, will be wrong.
Nothing wrong with and O&G company, that a billion barrels of oil can’t fix. AM led the way with his buy of 665,000 shares at $0.58 in January of this year. I presume it was CAD and not USD, as reported on LSE, but it’s still a chunk of change at more than double today’s sp. That was before Peter the Great II decided to push his presidential perambulator westwards, chucking his toys out as he went.
Anybody calling this a losing trade from here is very, very cautious. Nothing wrong with that, but maybe the ftse100 is more their cup of tea? Even then, nothing is guaranteed, but most of the time, they can hope to get returns somewhere between the building society and inflation rates.
I’ve got my average down to 16.67p. Almost exactly 1/6th of £1. Just saying. I don’t expect £1/s, but it would make for nice, round numbers.
