Sisfis, I feel your pain. We’ve all been disappointed with stocks. I’ve had more than my fair share of absolute howlers. Some of them i gave up on, like GGP, THOR and BMN. I could have averaged down, or even just held them, but I gave them away. Doh!

I lost money here from about 6/7p. I can’t remember what price I sold them for, but they are a better prospect from 0.18p now, so I took the placing. I should have sold the spike and bought back, but I think there is a lot, lot more to come here. Just my view.

But, of course, selling out and buying elsewhere is always an option.

I listened to Farming Today at 0545 today on Radio 4. Our imports of solid fertiliser from the Baltic States are severely depleted. We import tankers full of urea and ammonia from halfway round the world. The tanker terminal is in Great Yarmouth, but a new terminal is being built in Sunderland, to cope with demand. Without such nitrogen fertilisers, the world would only be able to feed 2 billion of the 8 billion population, but nitrates also damage the environment.

Any patented viable alternative to this must be a potential blockbuster.

I don’t understand that. All the placing shares have been ordered already. Ie sold, but not settled yet. That’s how placings work.
