“ Let's be clear on Trevor's situation”
TB bought about 12m shares over the past 20 months, costing him about £1.5m. He sold none.
His MO is to buy a shedload, crystallise gains, pay a stonking dividend, then sell up. The last dividend was eye watering.
“ I think the current SP is still slightly higher than net book value on a company that makes no money - there's absolutely no chance this re-rates unless there's another hype spike like a Zak Mir chart - and quite honestly that's what almost all of us are looking to escape on.”
Nobody cares about book value. I follow Carl on twitter, but it’s all just leftie stuff or nitpicking with barrackroom scientists, so I may unfollow soon. I think he has got the science right, but it’s taking forever to prove up, clinically, which it has to do before it can ever get to market. I haven’t seen prospective sepsis market figures, but I’m guessing somewhere between enormous and vast. My main rationale for staying invested, it that TB has a track record in making abnormal levels of profit, and distributing it liberally.
