davidpqz, what hero worship? He started a business with a vision. Businesses are not grown in a test tube in a laboratory, but out in the big, bad world. You work towards your vision, but have to make decisions based on available information, assets, customer requirements and risk factors. Obviously, he thought it was a good idea to buy the bank when he did, obviously Rick thinks it's a good idea to sell it now.
The only people who never make mistakes are the people who do nothing. I have made far, far more than my fair share of mistakes, but I am infinitely better off for having done enough, so that the few non-mistakes paid off.
Same thing here. Still everything to play for.
