I am not hiding behind semantics, or anything else. I categorically, emphatically, definitely posted, on more than one occasion, that Mr Masterman, CEO of WRES, stated at the 2018 AGM, that there would be no more placings.

Is there anything in that statement that you do not understand?

I have fully and completely acknowledged that I was adamant there would be no placing because there was no NEED for a placing. That was, and still is, correct.

Good morning all.

I like that we are focussing on the “good” in people. Lord knows we have had our share of the other sort in the past, but their time is up now. They made me think long and hard, and at regular intervals, if my investments in WRES were justified. I regularly lost sleep, churning facts and figures. The facts and the figures always backed up my decisions, but the nagging doubts were continuously served up and had to be rebutted here.

No need to elaborate on the stuff we had presented to us, but there is a significant body of us now, having been to LP, met many of the good people of the company, seen the extent of the asset, the top class equipment and infrastructure, to be reassured, and be able to reassure the rest of the board, that WRES will be a winner. I was in the vanguard, as Bob says, simply because I flew to Madrid, hired a car, punched Mérida into the satnav and got on the road. That put me in a unique position to counter much of the negativity on here. Now there are a dozen posters that can do that, which makes me very happy!

I have lost more money than I care to remember, mostly on AIM, so I have been extra cautious here, for me anyway. I’m happy that LP is heading for strong production and profit and VERY excited to see how that strong cash flow can propel the other assets that we own.

As well as PIs who would like to invest, but have no funds, I expect there will also be some who may invest, but who like to research a new company for more than just a few hours.

Jaf, I apologise if my post seemed defensive earlier. I did not intent that. I certainly had my WRES bias confirmed. Very much confirmed. I can only speak for myself, but from the comments of others, I was not alone in that.

As for the purpose of the placing, that was contained in the RNS which announced the placing and was confirmed by Mr Masterman last night. The placing was to strengthen the balance sheet. I thought you knew that.

There were 13 of us at the pub. I think your statement is true for most of the 13, but certainly true for me.

I think you may be conflating a willingness to buy and an ability to buy. There were two young men in our group of thirteen, six/seven over 60’s and the rest in between. Most of us said we would buy more, given funds, but two said they had enough, including one of the young chaps. Now I think of it, I wish I had conducted a poll, to see what sentiment was, in measurable terms.

If I had extra funds today, I would buy more today. Tell you what, next time I buy some, I will tell you, ok?

Thank you to all the posters here for your excellent company last night. It was a real pleasure to meet the LP crew again and all the new faces as well.

I am hoping that we can have a return visit this year to see the plant in full production and maybe even have a trip to Régua.
