dreamingof, I would not have exercised my 0.42p warrants without such a deal, as would some others I know, when the spread was about 0.42-0.44p.

I may have exercised some of them, with a lesser deal, but for the deal that was offered, I bust a gut to exercise ALL of them. I suppose the CEO wanted to make sure they were all taken up and out of the way. On top of that, he may figure that £2m or so within 18 months might be a decent chunk of Blackrock paid off. Anyway, it worked.

On the other hand, I suppose there is a SLIGHT argument, that it is only the funds provided by placees, like Mr Masterman, Dr Pyrola, Mr Garvie and Mr Scott, that kept the lights on, while Wres got all the preparation work done for the funding. Then we have to thank Blackrock for the funding itself. Mr Masterman watches the pennies,so if warrants were needed to swing the deal, then that’s just life.

Thanks to all these “pigs at the trough”, or as I prefer to call them, “investors”, there is now a fabulous, state of the art mine in progress. Anyone investing on the back of all this risk-taking, gets to make 30% profit, before any of the 0.6p warrants are worth exercising. Even after that, you can stay invested while Régua is ramped up and Sao Martinho is monetised. Wres is still very capable of at least 5 bags and more, given time to develop, imho.

So, please try to remain cheerful, as far as you possibly can.

Pay Blackrock back $10m still leaves $10m of his $20m 2020 ebitda to play with. $5m each for working capital and dividends would suit me very well.

Thanks for your views. I was in Saffron, now CORO, but never fancied SOU or Echo. I just thought yesterday’s sell of was the usual overreaction, so had a punt. Just thinking about holding for maybe 17-19p.

Presumably, we will be using BOTH concentrators during the commissioning period.

I know existing holders are not happy with yesterday’s news, but if you were looking at SOU for the first time, would you buy at these levels, with today’s news?

I bought SOU for the first time yesterday, just for a trade, but may hang on to them now.

marklee1, I agree with that, but there is no way you could build a 2-4% holding now, without driving the price up. The bigger holders have been buying for years, sometimes lower, sometimes higher.

This is virtually derisked now. The concentrator is the simplest bit of kit at the plant and it is a matter of weeks, not months, until that $3m starts coming in, each and every month.

Then the loan gets replaced, then we have cash flow and can explore the many opportunities that the Iberian Peninsula has to offer.

Wait until FOMO kicks in.
