I didn’t provide it for you. Of course the haulage costs are relevant!! We pay for them!! It is our opex!!

I make the transport costs to be somewhere around

850km (round trip) x €1.20 /litre (fuel price) / 40l/100 km (fuel usage) = $408 fuel costs.

Add in €120/day for a driver = €428.

Add in a suspiciously convenient €172 for wear and tear, sundries, comes to €600/300mtu, so €20/mtu.

OPEX will be higher, because of adits, and lower, because of higher concentration ore.

One truck per day almost gives us the promised 100tpm.

The old concentrator will go to Régua.

It will produce 10% concentrate. I thought it would be more than 10%, but we are working with a crusher designed to produce aggregate for road building, so maybe that’s the best we can do.

The lorry loads to LP will be 20 tonnes, the same weight as we provide the final product. Each lorry contains 2 tonnes WO3.

Each load will be refined at LP to provide 300 mtu of 66% concentrate, selling for $200 each, so sales of $60k per lorry load.

NMH19, you never know what’s round the corner. I nearly sold my BOIL for 0.05p last week. Now everyone and his dog is jumping in, just on the basis of what COULD be great, but I’m sitting pretty. I say pretty, but I really mean ruggedly handsome with a serially broken nose and a body sculpted by decades of my culinary proficiency.

The same thing will happen here, but based on what SHOULD happen, rather than what COULD happen!

Many posts about breakeven point today, some more enlightened than others, BUT, that is now a topic of discussion. Not IF, but WHEN.

Even DB is starting to behave reasonably. As Troajan regularly posts, we are WAY ahead of the normal timeframe for mine development, but we gave two, for the price of one, plus a bit of trucking thrown in.

Cuspoidally speaking, we are in the sweet spot for investing. Doesn’t matter (much) to me that I was buying at much higher levels. DB and his pals got it down for their benefit, but it helped me as well. Not long to wait now, and we still have the Joker card to play Sao Martinho.
