Obviously, the IPO would be better if it coincided with btc ATH. Unfortunately, Nasdaq doesn’t let you IPO unless you fill conditions precedent, which arb didn’t until recently.

In the real world, you can’t just wake up one day and IPO.

We have been “unlucky” with many things, including flooding but commodity prices have bailed us out. We just need to tread water until the funding lifeboat arrives. Then we can build up a head of steam and get back on course.

ian, the MMs have had almost off-take agreements with institutions for months. They just sit in the bid and remove any shares they get from the market. Of course, some PIs buy in at the same price, but the next day, the MMs can drop the price again. The only thing that stops that, is PIs not selling, because the institutions will keep on buying.

If you want to make money like an institution, you have to hold like an institution.

To be fair, the UK PI has been dragged around by market maker, filling orders from institutions. Mike Wainwright documents these buys at regular intervals. Lots of traders here as well, but obviously, a lot of them are losing. Investors in ARB will have rich rewards, but not in the hours and days that some are demanding.

From where I stand, I agree that the IPO was a shambles, but I’ll never know, for sure, what went wrong, or why. We are where we are, but I’m excited by the future.

The SEC wants to talk about climate change. Asking companies to report on their carbon footprint to help investors make choices about where they want to invest their dollars.
