We have a long way to go before dividends return IMO. Every penny will be a prisoner when we return and focus should be on servicing debt. I'd be happy with dividends returning next year.
Very good news indeed which shows the pent up demand for cinema and another indication that CINEMA IS NOT DEAD.
WB appear to be happy with Tom and Jerry's 14million opening weekend with majority of cinemas around the world still closed. Oh, and this was a day and date release meaning WB released on HBO max at same time as cinemas proving the public still want to get out and watch films in cinema.

We did it! Well done all
It's a first time for me too Moola!
Money to be made day trading in short term until we re-open.
I've done the same, LTH been in the share since 2008 and added more during pandemic.
Sold a chunk at 99p today and will buy back in later today.
Good news for England. Let's wait and see what the other devolved nations release. Hopefully they have worked together and offer a similar approach.
Time for Europe and US to pull the fingers out too!
They have a new CEO with a F&B background opposed to Crispin Lilley the old Ceo (Ex Cine) with film focus. Will be interesting to see how they operate going forward.
Always found the cinematic experience has been terrible at Everyman. Small auditoriums, little sound proofing, poor speaker quality etc.
Spot on Moola.
IMO BW is a better tentpole to reopen with in comparison to Tenet earlier in the year. Much wider audience target with BW and a huge demand sitting to experience a good film on the big screen again. Fingers crossed we continue to make progress against the virus to allow this to happen.
My apologies No Fear. I had read a different article and shared the wrong one. Very poor from me.

Not Cineworld unfortunately https://www.google.com/amp/s/deadline.com/2020/06/polish-cinemas-reopen-this-week-major-chains-going-to-wait-1202948031/amp/
OK Moola, I'll apply some logic for you then.
Let's use the UK as an example, where are the vast majority of Cineworlds located? Shopping centres, retail parks and some in major city centres. In shopping centre and retail park locations we would be an anchor tenant, city centres - yes we could possibly own the buildings but owning the property outright would be a massive cash upfront investment.
Another thing to consider would be that way in which the company grew, starting from a small company with a few cinemas to a takeover over UGC and then European and world wide expansion. At the rate we have grown I find it difficult to believe we have paid outright for our estate.
As I mentioned earlier, not sure about the US with property and land being cheaper and Regal may have had a different business model but I am confident that we do not own alot of estate in UK or Europe.
I've been invested in Cine since the Steve Weiner days long before Mooky arrived and grew the business into 2md biggest cinema operator in the world.
Would imagine most of our estate is leased. Certainly UK and Europe, can't see us owning many cinemas in those territories.
Squeece away
Appreciated but the forum is filled with enough nonsense lately never mind unrelated shares.
If you are invested in ASOS I wish you luck, great future growth opportunities with latest takeovers.
What's that got to do with Cine? Nothing.
Both appear to be on Cineworld PLC website >> https://www.cineworldplc.com/en/investors/press-releases/rns
The twitter page only has 51 followers. Calm down. Big difference between that and the US movement which had over 1millions followers which has now increased significantly
Anyone buying in? I'm thinking of sinking a bit in and then taking my profits and buying more into Cine as a LTH
