"It owned next to nothing of value" ?? I'm not sure I quite agree with you there Rocal. What are we (investors) getting capital return for again?? ;-) PSD was sold whilst the C/F was in some distress and I assume it was not sold for over the odds. Our share of NARS certainly looks to have been sold cheap (in hindsight). QPP has a healthy cash reserve even post CR. A bullish stance would also point out WatchStone also has future funds from escrow plus other contingencies. That's on top of businesses that can be used as an engine for growth (on this I know we agree), and indeed disposal, depending on the strategic direction the BOD decide to take and the plan that must be broadly known now. With the PSD distractions behind it QPP will be an easier business to operate in the (generally) higher p/e tech market. Between PSD and it's smaller sibling it is the tech companies left that have the bigger/better potential for stellar growth. Admittedly this also means a higher risk of failure, but the new BOD's credentials look very impressive and the size of the funds held in cash means it should stand much more than a fighting chance. We just need sight of "the plan". For me there are distinct variables in the longer term. Watchstone executing a well thought out plan. The general market for telematics and it's growth over time. The amount of profit we take as our share of NIHL (whilst the equally invested SGH do the hard work). Progress here will lead to a likelihood that the escrow sum will be returned intact and I hope indicate the result from the SFO. No SFO issues would then extinguish camps action before it gets a chance to start. ...And the world will become that little duller as quindell and her crazy voyage will become that distant memory (nightmare-ish for some) that many of us have lived (invested) through and leave some of us ready for new adventures in a different ship named Watchstone. The end ;-) atb JS
those grownup act ;-) JS
Hi CM, for balance Rocal has pretty much always shown his cards. There's not been a change at the flick of a switch like some that have day traded. He's not sprung any surprise volte-face unlike the likes of seanhunter etc. While I have seen some great humour from both at lease Rocal's reminiscences are believable, while for Sean to use nostalgia to ingratiate himself back here whilst conveniently forgetting his heartwrenching apology to TW (amongst many other unbelievable posts) is simply laughable. Simply offered for balance ;-) I think the sp will be above Rocal's pocket if he is thinking 15p post cap return. Lets face it, ignoring the ongoing businesses in healthcare, telematics and insurance enabling companies and there potential, the remaining 10p return will put any investor a long way to profit if they buy at that price ;-) With the return of the funds escro that smashes through the value barrier. Now let's look back at the remaining business, it's new BOD the speed they are moving to maximise investor value. 15-20p sounds like a bargain from here (a possibly unobtainable one though). atb JS
Good to see you again. You pumped this share more than anyone at the height and a little after - before you faded away. Indeed I believe it was partially due to you that I originally bought. Who should I sue? It's OK fella, I don't hold a grudge (though you might find I un-follow you of twitter, I hope you don't mind ;-)). I take responsibility for my own investing decisions but if you want to sound like some Jeremy Kyle compo culture 'victim', go ahead. Of course how could it be your own fault and the world owes you something. When I say world you will immediately think QPP and RT but perhaps you might miss the fact QPP is hundreds and thousands of investors (almost) just like you. The big difference is most have integrity and understand the concept of honour. I don't exactly believe in karma, but I think you might find you get your just deserts (and it will be expensive for you). It has taken some b**ls for us to stay invested and make the best of a bad situation. Perhaps, in the nicest possible way you could grow some? JS
Hi seanhunter, We have seen both your faces on here and it is no surprise that many stalwarts hold an opinion of you. This has some relevance... http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=58ZIdyd3rjg Your admiration/defense of TW let you down IMHO. Atb JS
Poor scared investor, bondstreet? If you were really scared you would have sold you imaginary shares ;-) As you haven't done that you betray your position. You know the qpp has strength in it's balance sheet both prior and post the CR due to the cash balance and that is what is really scaring you isn't it. I note your liberal use of the word fear is back but why not impressive vocabulary to strengthen your case? Panic is causing you to rush your posts and the are losing credibilty.. Now I know why you fear! You fear the strength the balance sheet affords qpp. You fear the discipline and good judgement the BOD are displaying. You fear the plans that are being formed. You fear the potential. You fear investors making a profit as it means you make a loss. Carry on Fearing - you are about as scary as a carry on. ... and Halloween has past so knock it off, there's a good troll. JS
GS you are very generous. JS
I fully understand Ma'am. <bows> ;-) Just log in and change it mine was my email address when I first started. JS
Well forecast Beamer21! (12 Oct) I just popped in here as I see Blueshare are using this stock to test a new feature for the ShortReport. One that might help investors here. atb JS
