Yes it is the only strategy to have when it comes to oil and gas drilling, yet the pay zone is substantial and could take this into pounds which will probably end in a buy out.

Bodes well, could be anytime soon then for approval of block 3B/4B, nice find, the ducks are all aligning nicely for a drill campaign in South Africa. Even better my next batch will be cheaper 😆👍

£325 million is $442 million

$442 million divided by $15 (the price a barrel of oil is worth in ground offshore South Africa) at $71 per barrel

Require 29.6 million barrels to Eco with a 5.25% stake in block 3B/4B.

A 700 million barrel oil find with give us £1.25p

Price targets are targets and nothing with make the share move to that unless we get a 700 million barrels of find by Totalenergies.

One area of the 1st drill as potential of 2 billion barrels. If that happens we are talking over £3

Upstream Petroleum Resources Development Act

South Africa is set to complete the implementation of the new Upstream Petroleum Resources Development Act by September 2025. The law creates an investor-friendly regime for oil and gas investors, promotes economic growth and expands opportunities for local companies and entrepreneurs across the petroleum value chain. The act was signed by South African President Cyril Ramaphosa in 2024 and is expected to come into effect following the introduction of new Petroleum Regulations.

According to South Africa’s Minister of Mineral and Petroleum Resources Gwede Mantashe, the law has not only created legislation that is investor-friendly for the oil and gas sector, but has also ensured that there is a dedicated regulatory regime for the sector given its potential for economic contribution and job creation.

The Upstream Resources Petroleum Act by South Africa is expected.

This is expected to happen starting September 29th till 3rd October at the African Energy Week.

This will give Totalenergies the legislation to drill block 3B/4B this giving a drill date. I said it yesterday and hope a drill date in January when the Mira Drill rig should be available, the same drill rig (one of 2) that discovered the Venus in Namibia.

For Block 3B/4B we wait of legislative approval which runs in line with South Africa new legislation which aims to unlock South Africa's hydrocarbon potential.

The only news that is pending is South African approval to drill wells in blocks 3B/4B, once that happens then it will rise again on drill date and expectation as drill nears.

I think Africa oil conference in September to break news. Then I think contract with the Mira Drillship which is currently contracted to Rhino in Namibian to drill end of August/September for a 55 day drill then onto block 3B/4B for Totalenergies in January 2026.

Could be wrong or could be right 😆

It is rather quiet, this is the calm before the storm period. I know a bit boring, looking at the exciting 4 trades yesterday.

Fact is shares are held, the crowd will eventually arrive upon expectation in block 3B/4B.

Pre - Multi stacked drill next year, I think we might see a hundred trades in a day, I just won’t be able to contain my excitement 😆

If we ever do hit with the drill bit this board will attract all the nutters we see on other boards and the name calling etc etc, can’t wait to see the idiots 😆

Yes the way I worded it. Asked to buy over the day and price to buy was 11p.

Somehow my trades went through at 9.6p and not all.

Today completed my buys this morning at 10p.

Don’t rely on the data here in LSE for value against buys and sells it is totally wrong.

With this share I can’t see Qatar Energy and Totalenergies going back into South African blocks without some guarantee with. Locks 3B/4B

South Africa want to open up investment with Gas Cliff looming and I to do so an announcement at the African Oil and Gas seminar which is in South Africa in September could be a forum to voice for investment and what better full clearance to drill blocks 3B/4B and a drill date from Totalenergies. Just my thought though not Impossible.

The share went to 40p last time on drilling expectation of a successful drill. We could get news on Guyana, on Namibia and Block 1 also South Africa in the interim.

For me this share is high risk with potential to multi bag.

What makes me invest is what I see as a drill date from Totalenergies and upside that entails to enable me to sell and recoup my investment and leave the remainder in a speculate drill to multi bag.

I work for Qatar Energy and I have no inside information except the knowledge that investment on this would have a lot more guarantee and better terms to drill.

Looking for a free ride and hopefully success in a proven basin. Fingers crossed this strategy pays off less it is back to the drawing board.
