I think the receivers will be circling around Helicon soon. They have also shorted 1.8% of TLW at 9p last November. Sp currently nudging 16p, another disastrous short for them. Their last published accounts show 35million in the bank with 14m owed. A founding director went this Jan.

I sincerely wish Helikon and its investors a miserable 2026.

It’s my understanding that as well as paying lenders of stock the borrowing charges they also have to honour any dividend becoming due.

The point I’m making is a Dominoes franchise is turning down business. How many other sites I wonder?

The site is in Goldington on a food park next to a Costa and opposite a Macdonald’s and a stones throw from a kfc, all of whom take cash. We are far from a cashless society, cash is king and long may it continue. No company can afford to turn down cash and the do so at their peril. No wonder Dominoes are being shorted to oblivion and the share price is on its arse!

The shares being purchased are not for cancellation but being held in treasury. I assume VOD will introduce the billion odd shares back to market to raise cash at a later date. One would assume at a higher price than they are currently purchasing them for. Shares held in treasury do not receive the dividend.

Good move. This could well pay you a high dividend yield in the years to come. Well at least that’s what I am hoping. My average is £1.48
