If they start trying to package those debts up as an investment product, sell all your holdings in the stock market and buy back in when 50 to 60% of the markets value has been wiped out.

Last time they did this...

1. Loaned money to people that should never have been given the money.
2. Moved debts from the retail arm to the investment banking arms of the same bank.
3. The Investment banks packaged the debts up as Collaterlised debt obligations (CDO's)
4. The Investment banks sold the CDO's as low risk investments to the worlds insurance companies and many other investors.

When the debtors started defaulting, The retail banks had loads of toxic debt they couldn't shift, and investors started losing money big time, some of those investors had insured the CDO's against default so a massive influx of claims went in to the insurance companies who couldn't meet the claims value.

So Capitalism nearly collapsed, which would have brought the whole of society down.

The problem is we have a leader who has never wanted Brexit, who campaigned for remain, and who is still trying to keep the UK in the EU by dressing it up. She's not the best person to show the potential of leaving the EU, she's the best person to show the negatives.

It made no sense for the majority of the electorate to vote to leave, only for the Tory party to appoint a remainer to do a leavers job.

That made no sense... far away places? On job losses, I think they wouldn't be as bad as project fear makes out. And the new trade deals we are currently prohibited from making would obviously create new jobs from new business.

Here's the alternative...

1. Hard Brexit, leave absolutely everything to do with the EU (What people voted for)
2. WTO Terms
3. Make trade deals with the USA, Australia, India, China etc

There's no link to Trump with Russian collusion. If there was he would already be impeached. And the Russians hacked Crooked Hillary's email server and exposed her corruption... I say the Russian's did the American people a favor by providing more information to them, so they could make an informed decision :-)

She's lucky there's no MP's completely resigning their seats to force a by election, and potentially a general election. She's the leader of a minority government, if even a handful of seats resign, and they can't fill their seats with Conservatives... her government is toppled.

Sampsun unless a Brexiteer PM takes over and sacks all the sycophants currently sucking up to Treason May and her plan and replaces the cabinet with a full Brexit cabinet, then the Conservatives have no chance of winning the next general election.

qz, normally I would agree. I don't have much respect for the polls, clearly they've been wrong loads of times... but they show an immediate change of 8 percentage points straight after Treason May betrayed the Brexit vote with her white paper. It's obviously having an effect. There's every reason to believe millions will change their vote as she's completely betraying the Brexit vote.

The left has been hijacked by social justice warriors labeling people racist, misogynist, Islamophobic, Xenophobic etc they do this to try and gain power over the other side. Virtue signalers trying to show everyone how morally superior they are to those who have opposing views on immigration, failed multiculturalism and failed globalist policies.

Jayfax, if you can't see that the overwhelming majority of people using these words are so called leftists then you must have been living under a rock for the last 5 years at least. Identity politics is the weapon of choice for the left... they do it constantly to try and discredit or silence the political debate. But it doesn't work. Hence why Trump is President and not Hilary Clinton who played the identity politics card constantly.

The Left has Authoritarian views manifesting in as zero tolerance for opposing opinions. They demonstrate this by silencing anyone with an opposing opinion by labeling them Racist, Xenophobic, Islamophobic etc they know this can destroy the reputation and even career of their opponents.

The left nowadays, very quickly resorts to this rebelling when they have ran out of arguments to debate. Most people can see this, and the more they do it, the more things will change politically in the opposite direction from what they want.

The need to stop mistaking cutting someone's tongue out for changing their views.

Qz, haven't you saw that the the Conservatives have taken an 8 percentage point dive in the polls since Treason May released her plan? And Labour's support has remained the same. I personally hate Labour with a passion, so no dreaming here from me... but the change in opinion, can't be ignored.

Pay attention to the policies Labour propose, particularly McDonnell... Corbyn agrees with him, but McDonnell is more vocal. Then go and look at the stuff Venezuela did and you'll have an idea of the problems Marxism causes.

The Bookies OddsToday 14:59It's interesting that they have Jacob Rees Mogg as the favourite to become the next leader of the Conservatives, they also have 2022 as favourite for the next general election... but they have Corbyn as favourite to be next Prime Minister.

From that I assume they either think Treason May is going to serve her full term, and hand Corbyn the victory, or they think that even if Mogg becomes the Tory leader before the next general election, that Labour will still win.

I think Treason May has done irreparable damage to the Conservatives... or at least not repairable before the next general election.
