It's deliberate, they "literally" want a United States of Europe. We joined an economic community, that morphed into a political union, with un-elected people call the shots. Over the years more and more powers were transferred away from the UK to the EU through various treaty's.

There should be overwhelming support for leaving absolutely everything to do with the EU, instead they've been doing everything possible either not to leave, or to water it down so much it's very close to Remaining.

The more I read about this, the more it seems JRM might have played a blinder. It seems unlikely the EU will accept the Customs Plan in it's new form now... maybe he's trying to force a No Deal :-)

Lets call a spade a spade here. Option A and B splits the leavers in two. Option C keeps the Remainers united... Option C would be a stone cold Certainty to Win.

I don't think the Americans are stupid. On the contrary, even with far more money spent on her campaign and the countries elite behind her, Hilary Clinton couldn't beat Trump. The electorate rejected the elitist establishment in favour of someone who addressed the very real concerns of a wide range of demographics.

Instead Hilary Clinton played identity politics... add to that the Russians helping to expose the real her with those emails on Wikileaks and it was obvious she wasn't the person she was pretending to be.

Who knows maybe that will happen with Trump to. But so far all I see is a relentless campaign of the left trying to bring him down and focusing on things that most normal people couldn't care less about.

So he gives a figure and then contradicts himself... or he acts egotistical... most people don't care. Is the economy doing well? Yes... Are jobs being created in record numbers? Yes... is he making people feel a little safer by going after illegal immigration? Yes

These are the things most people care about. But the left are too busy calling him a Misogynist, a Racist an Islamophobe etc etc... most people don't actually care even if he was.

I think it will depend on whether or not he gets a second term. Many will say he won't, I currently disagree. I've seen nothing to suggest the American people will turn against him. And the more the left plays identity politics the stronger he'll get.

We don't take a full hit on EU trade. We just take a percentage hit by changing to WTO terms. And no doubt the stone wall we've been getting from Brussels will change when the German car industry etc starts suffering when it doesn't have to.

And the hit we do take by using WTO terms, we can fill that hit with new trade deals that we're currently prohibited from making.

Yes and not in the stupid way the leftist think. He will build it and take the money for it in tariffs whether the Mexican government likes it or not.

The Mexicans are not going to literally say, oh ok Mr Trump... here's the money we owe you for that wall. But Tariffs take the money whether they like it or not.

If MP's representing the 405 Constituencies who's constituents voted to the Leave the EU as a majority, actually wanted to take back full control. All they need to do is repeal the 1972 European communities act, and bang... all powers come back to the UK.

Instead we take 9 months to trigger article 50, and after 2 years we have a plan keeping us shackled to the EU. This is never going to end until we get what we want.
