Galileo brings front‑end geological, exploration and mine planning capability; Jubilee brings operating mines, in‑country processing (Sable) and project execution experience in Zambia. The collaboration is explicitly framed as a platform, not a one‑off: Molefe is the first project in an initiative to identify small‑to‑medium copper deposits across the Copperbelt and take them “from any stage to cash‑flow".
Near term, Molefe relies on Jubilee’s Sable plant, giving quick monetisation of high‑grade feed without new capex by Galileo.
Medium term, the partners plan an on‑site leach / solid–liquid separation / precipitation circuit designed around the low‑grade ROM and stockpile, effectively turning stranded sub‑1% copper into a second revenue stream and extending mine life.
Molefe is already producing: c.80ktpm mined, 3.5–4.5ktpm of high‑grade ROM at +2% Cu sent to Sable; target is 8.5ktpm by Q3 FY2026, equating to roughly 200tpm of contained copper into Sable under a tolling arrangement. Target is 8,500 tpm of high‑grade ore by around Q3 FY2026.
And Luansobe, Ka$hitu, Kalahari, Kamativi negotiations run in parallel.
