Also be helpful if the media types stopped trying to push the cinema is dead rhetoric just because they personally like to watch films on their phones/laptops alone in their studio apartments while they check their social media profiles.
I always find it weird when people report a film as a Bomb when it's only been in theatres for 1 whole day.
Problem is people will read that as the film is rubbish and won't go to see it.
My thoughts are maybe this is not the share for you if you want quick returns, so go put your money into something else and comment on the message board for that. There's no point you being here if you're not invested.
Should get an unlimited card, if you go just twice a month it's worth it.
No but I would expect the SP to be higher with increased numbers of cinema goers and the films due to be released over the coming months given where the SP was pre-pandemic. It should be at least in the 90s. It's all been good news for CINE for several months.
They should do the same for Pirates of the Caribbean if any ride should be made into a film that one definitely should...
The should do the same for Pirates of the Caribbean...
Close your shorts before they're released then
Maybe they wear the face nappy to reduce the chance they could pass the virus on to you?
"lack of news" - more like lack of understanding on their part, they've just increased capacity by loosening covid restrictions. Plus the shambles around the Black Widow release due to piracy is good news for theatres
Why pay for premier access when you can just pirate it day and date
Cineworld now only leaving one seat between bookings in England
I think it's more that people are selling CINE to buy into other options that are performing better right now than anything wrong with CINE itself.
There is no reason to the difference, AMC is flying because it's a meme "stonk" supported by Reddit /wallstreetbets
May need to sell out of US holdings to buy into CINE?
Start times are staggered and there are less seats available so it being busy but not rammed is probably as busy as it can get under current distancing restrictions.
It worked!
@hsn agree media seems to think streaming will kill cinema, they forget supply and demand applies to film releases and never seem to take into account Cineworld has a subscription service that makes going to see a film just twice a month worth signing up alone.
Black Widow will be £30 + the monthly sub for Disney+ of £6/£7 to see it at the earliest opportunity, for a two person household I would be able watch every movie released that month multiple times for £37. Car parking is free, or I can walk so no issues with travelling. So why is it so hard for them to see cinema is not "dead" just because some people are happy to wait for movies to appear on Netflix/Amazon/Disney+.
All they see is debt which is only there because of investment in infrastructure just before the pandemic.
Only way the US markets opening making a difference is those that need to sell in order to buy CINE
The size of the industry is determined by the quota's if we were allowed to catch a higher percentage compared to other EU countries in our waters it would be a larger industry, we could also sell access to our waters.
