“The Thorny River venture, on which we have spent significant time and money, is likely to begin production in 2023. Thorny River is a kimberlite dyke system which we have demonstrated to be an extension of the Marsfontein and Klipspringer mines. Exploration has identified two deposits which between them contain up to 2m tons. We expect the grade to be between 46 and 74 cpht of good quality diamonds.

We have applied for mining permits which we expect to be issued by mid-2023.”

I think you may be correct with TR permit. I also would not be surprised if we have other news. Ghaghoo and Maibwe are two projects which are still in the minds eye. JC does like a left field announcement.

Our acreage at Thorny river is already deemed to hold more than 2x the kimberlite of Marsfontain referred to in the article.

Very difficult the assign a share price to Marsfontain as it was a part of a larger entity.

No rush. Something is in the air.

Just been out for the day and saw the tweet.

It got me really excited and what a hint.

Just had a reply from James about the size of stones in the picture. I was correct with my assumption that the smallest gathered are using a 1.5 mm cut off. This is now really exciting if they are pulling 6 ct+ stones from the dumps.

Just wait until we start mining fresh virgin kimberlite at TR.

Just a thought from the latest collection James has posted. I believe the diamond cut off size was 1.5 mm. If that is the case then this last picture gives us some very interesting stones.

If the small stones are 1.5 mm the largest in pic are at least 8 times this size or 12 mm

6mm is a 1 ct stone with 12 mm being around 6 ct.

Only a rough estimation but they could have found some really decent stones.

I feel news is near. Whether it be mining license, Ghaghoo partnership or a left field announcement the silence says it all.

If you look at the picture from April 9th this area is used to stockpile material from the various sources. In the picture, you can see it has been depleated. However, yesterday it has been replenished. My thoughts are that it could be coming from the gravels but just as possible it could be more from the dumps. To me, it just seemed to be a mother load of material.

The bucket on this machine is lifting a mimimum of 2 tons per bucket.

If this is the gravels then each bucket has 1 ct of diamonds in it
