£4 Million placings. What will that do to the SP?
They are already all but bankrupt .

Vast seems to be in complete free fall. Just done a placing to cover costs so they are not seen to be bancrupt. They owe more than their Market cap.
Where does this leave BOD with this mess?

Big sell order being worked

Well over the timescale for a placing which usually are at 6-month intervals. The last 2 placings were at 0.6p for around £350K.
That type of placing now would cost around 60% in shares of those placings so James is sticking to his word and making placings at substantially higher SP value.
We have a lot in the pipeline for a draw on expenses. As well as running costs we have to find the money for the KX36 kimberlite pipe and all the added sweeties that this deal brought. ( US$150,000 will be payable on 27th November 2021)
Remember we have already agreed on a placement for Vutomi so we own 100% of Thorny River. (The consideration for Vutomi comprises 56,989,330 new ordinary shares in the Company which, at the closing mid-market price on 28th September 2021 of 1.10p per share, is valued at £627k.) In theory, some of this will be recouped as we sell 27% to the Company's local South African Empowerment partner, Baroville Trade and Investments Although we are lining them this money initially, so could take from the initial diamond sale.
Now for drilling campaigns and Bulk sampling. This will be deferred until the dry season. I am looking forward to the modelling of the resource along with the drilling of the two new targets. I believe TR will be the resource that just keeps giving. Remember the kimberlite is just below the surface. Take a bucket and spade and dig them up. (Marsfontain).
all in all very happy with the progress being made and awaited the next news with baited breath.

Echo - I also bit the bullet and top sliced yesterday. Sold 500K with a view to getting them back cheaper. As we all try to do. Now with the shares 1.1p to buy, I am unable to buy at this price. In a queue so hoping I will be lucky enough to get them back at this gift price. It also means I will have money in reserve for another top up.

The other two are buys.

What we do know is that this small rise is nothing more than BOD deserves. It rose not on expectation but solid fundamentals and some world-class. projects which are only now being recognised for their real potential.
We also have the ace in the pack called James Campbell.
It is great to see the profit in the portfolio and I would never decry anyone who takes this profit.
However, I for one am nowhere near the end of my journey with this company. Thorny River is only the first stop.
