Or not...
News does not warrant a 40% drop
I'm in.
Just a shame this year's dividend allowance is only 1k
XO have confirmed I needn't do anything and the dividend will be paid as long as I hold shares on the ex date
Price action has been positive over the last two days - which given the general condition of the markets is a real positive.
If the FTSE jumps a few percent in the next few days this could do very very well
Do a little bit of research into other companies with a £50m mcap... The first one I found was McBride...
Most recent FY23 provision below (results in July)
(*) Current market expectations refer to a Group compiled consensus for FY23 of;
· Sales Revenue £874m
· Adjusted Operating Profit of £3.0m
· Reported Loss Before Tax of £27.3m
· Net Debt (incl. IFRS 16) £201.5
So... A company that has a loss making, low margin business is valued at the same mcap as a growing, high margin, profitable business in a sector that is accelerating exponentially and organically.
Make sense of that if you can.
Sorry, but a £50m mcap with high single figure millions of profit every year just is not sustainable. A reversal is coming here and I suspect it will be sooner rather than later.
"Suggested RTO targets for RY include: Cineworld, Purple Bricks, UKOG and Unbound"
So.. RTO into 4 companies that are already listed? Wow. That makes perfect sense.
Please do explain.
This to trade around the 1.8-1.9 mark for the foreseeable.
Well done to all holders, I timed my sell badly.
Clarity on the taxation status and the uncertainty that the RNS provides around payment process will see this struggle to go much further north imho.
