As of Monday the drill was at 232m for a high-priority target. Assuming target depth is 350m and drill rate of 30m/day then it should be finished. If its good news then KAV will likely find a mechanism to let the market know although I doubt they will release XRF. There was a two week gap for the last drill not unexpected as they were seeing the geology for the first time.

One interesting snippet from recent interview is they are re-ordering the target drill order so there was something undisclosed about the last hole perhaps geophysics making KAV change the order or perhaps they got some high re IP on targets.

Pre drill KAV stated “The exploration and drilling strategy aims to validate the interpretations made to date by establishing the stratigraphic position, verify the presence of structural trap sites and prove the presence of a mineralising system through identification of path finder minerals”.

Mineralised system with pathfinders now established.

XRF stated to confirm presence of Cu/Ag/Pb, but not accurate compared to assays, we all know that.

Cores align to the geological model.

These are prerequisites for commercial finds. RNS states find is likely non-commercial.

Re Zim: KAV are building a portfolio of claims, probably sitting on 3-5m oz with other acquisitions in pipeline. Historical mining map on Telegram, lots of small pre 1980’s mines targeting shallow veins, KAV has NEVER stated it was looking for single 10moz mines. KAV targeting bulk mining c1-2g/oz, but turns out lots of high grade veins some warranting underground mining. Limited assays so far but looking promising.

Hillside Prospect 1 & Nara Killarney Main are the key exploration targets with KAV looking for c3moz so can't underplay how import these results will be. For whatever reason Prospect 1 core was not fire assayed in Zim, instead KAV opted to wait for the export permit for South Africa & supposedly cores were sent in mid May. We don't know which service (priority or standard) KAV opted for but BT mentioned about a month, standard is generally 2-3 months. Its possible KAV have the results already. KAV didn't have export permits for the Nara core & in an interview BT confirms cores were being fire assayed in Zim so about 2 months to process meaning the results should be available very shortly. KAV's been very quiet on Nara drilling, the odd comment about cores looking very good.

Depending on the assay grades, these results are a factor of 10 times more important than the limited test results release so far. Timing should be within next two weeks.

That's a very good question, probably Hillside.

The RNS 11th April relates only to Hillside, I can't find the reference but there were further delays & I don't think the cores were sent until June. To be clear, Prospect 1 (important) cores have been sent & then there's multi element testing on all cores. Prospects 2-4 were tested for gold in Zimbabwe & KAV had to QA the results.

KAV have said nothing about export licences for Nara & not a given these have been granted

TBH I think the delays are down to Zim government

Predictable result, time to stop destroying shareholder value & move on to lower risk, less technically demanding opportunities.

have any of the vibes from the molopo drill been remotely optimistic? if they found pentlandite (nickel) you'd know about it because pxrf would confirm any visual observations. that leaves pgms which are much harder to detect & if anything like bushveld then present in thin layers rather than ****genous in the conductor which pow did at least find. there's 40-50 years of drilling at molopo & nobody has come close to commercial discoveries so i wouldn't pin your hopes on a positive outcome.

What’s good to see is KAV focussing on value creation & prioritisation both in KCB & now Hillside Prospect 2 where I’d forgotten just how good the grades were, 10g/t 35-60m below surface looks encouraging & the latest drills should expand area by a minimum 160m width. Geological risks aside, the prizes are very subtantial:

Khoemacau Copper-Silver Project: Developed by Cupric Canyon, this world-class project boasts a combined sulphide resource of 502 million tonnes (Mt) with 1.4% copper (Cu) and 17 grams per tonne (g/t) silver (Ag). Notably, it includes 185 Mt with 2.0% Cu and 27 g/t Ag.

Sandfire Resources T3 Deposit: Located in the KCB, the T3 deposit contains 36.0 Mt with 1.14% Cu and 12.8 g/t Ag. An optimized feasibility study is currently underway.

A4 Dome Prospect: Sandfire Resources also discovered exceptional drill intercepts at the A4 Dome, including 7.15 meters with 16.0% Cu and 222.0 g/t Ag, as well as 12.40 meters with 13.3% Cu and 232.8 g/t Ag1.

The two main mines account for 8Mt of copper resources.
