Agree Matt re people putting their head in the sand. I am underwater here, but have made some back in Capita.

I have sold some here (not many) and must admit, I'm getting like others just hoping. I thought at the start of the year when the credit insurers reinstated cover, this would start making moves but alas, no. We already know what results will be, it's the forward guidance that is key and I'm really not sure now.

I purchased 3 shirts from Asos so that should help their sales 🤪

Was interested how long it would take to be delivered as delivery delays are something they have been accused of. Actually got delivered a day before it was supposed to. Quality is reasonable to be fair and for a decent enough price.

Agree sj74. Hopefully is just "immaterial", but not good as you say.

I made some comments last week and want to clarify that imo this is a silly valuation of Asos, but the way things are going I wouldn't be shocked to see 199p and less. But, it's priced to fail and I don't think it will do. Competition is so high though that I can't ever see the high prices of the past.

Have to agree, Asos is in a precarious position. A lot of hope more than anything here. They won't go busy imo, but competition will stop this growing massively again. SP is just falling and falling without any sign of it stopping. Imagine a 199p sp? Could easily happen.

But as I said yesterday, the current price is showing them as going under, ridiculous valuation.

I agree Al4x. The current price is too low, but on the next rise, if we can touch 400p, I think I will sell and maybe buy more CPI.

Asos will be ok but as you said, so much competition now, they won't get near their best days again.

Bit harsh to single jamesss out, but yeah this share has been a hideous buy. I think long term it will turn over a nice profit and grow again, albeit nothing like it was. But what a fair sp would look like, I don't know.

Have to admit, this is proper priced to fail. It won't, but the sp is not going anywhere fast.

I'm hoping the foundations have been set now and growth will return, but I must admit I don't have full faith here.

However I have said before I could see similarities between Capita and Asos, albeit completely different companies, but both in transition. Asos is smaller and leaner now (apparently) and Capita definitely is after the huge restructuring there.

Would never advise anyone to buy a stock but I'm fairly confident Cpi will rise nicely now. Broker gave it a 900p target. Hopefully Asos will follow suit at some point.

I know it's a Saturday and nobody is arsed with what is posted on here, but one thing I did notice in the 2 YouTube videos I watched, was the quality of some of the garments. Organic cotton. Hardly premium but Shein stuff is nearly all utter tat. Shein getting it right tho. Asos may need to become a bit of both ie fast fashion and Next.

Matty, I replied back asking about a tu but looks like fy results the bext update. As others have said, this is a huge update seeing fcf is expected from next year. Jam tomorrow again? More than likely unfortunately.
