Thank you for responding Suzy.
Before I go on some context ... I believe in Kallak, just not in Kurt. I want Beowulf to prosper and would happily be wrong about Kurt. I just see no evidence Kurt is ahead of the game.
Our market cap is 20m. Not sure what went in the feasibility study but the most modest of mines cost 50m-100m. So that would require shareholders to put in another 2.5-5* their current investment - who would do that?
So that leaves investment ie someone buying part or all of Kallak doesn't it? Or selling a piece of paper with Grafintec written on it or Vardar - who would pay 50m for those????
And the more time that passes the more desperate Beowulf will be for cash and buyers will now that and use it to their advantage!?
Am happy for you to demonstrate how I've misunderstood the situation of course
Is it just me thinking this talk of a buy out is utter fantasy???
- If there is a buy out/deal on the table or even in the room why raise 4m at 2.5p
- Realistically who else's valuation would match Vlad's hopes/dream valuation - the science is exciting but there so so far to go
- If there was even a sniff of a deal we wouldn't be trading at 4m a day
Eric, most genuinely sorry to hear you’re not catching the breaks atm, I had concluded also that you’re a thoroughly decent chap.
I’m just coming up to my 12th anniversary of being a shareholder here and was wholly hopeful until just after the concession was awarded when (imo) it became clear kurt didn’t have a scooby do.
In the last few weeks I’ve sold down 90% of my holdings and will trade from here - something I’ve never done before- because I feel it is the only way to extract some value from this debacle and yes I am v resentful now of kurt and his profligacy.
Please consider doing the same - don’t go down with the ship because it’s noble
If …. Rudyard Kipling…. Just brilliant… some more of it
… If you can dream – and not make dreams your master;
If you can think – and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
…..
If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;
Good advice for investing I reckon
Eric,
Sorry to pi55 on your cornflakes but any rise on the Sami case being thrown out will be sold in to by pis trying to get out the door imo. The fundamentals here are that there isn’t a route to monetising any of the three projects, just more dilution and value destruction. We can hope for divine intervention of course but the truth is that with Kurt at the helm we are likely going nowhere and will eventually be swamped by a big wave and sunk
Roller, not sure if this is helpful but here goes
Thank you for your message.
There is a rights issue as a part of a fundraising that's just been announced but it is not something that we're able to take part in at HL.
You are able to take part yourself through PrimaryBid who are running the retail offer.
The offer opens on 9 February 2023.
I've outlined some details below:
Subscription period: 9 February 2023 - 23 February 2023 (ends at 4:00 p.m. GMT).
Subscription price: 2.06 pence per New Ordinary Share.
Issue amount: The UK Issue will comprise a maximum of 104,000,000 New Ordinary Shares. The proceeds of the UK Issue will be up to approximately £2.1 million (gross). The number of Ordinary Shares in issue as at the date of this announcement amounts to 831,710,636 of which 633,363,876 are underlying shares for the SDRs.
Subscriptions under the UK Issue will be considered by the Company with preference to be given to the Company's existing retail investors, subject to certain customary conditions.
The UK Issue is not being underwritten.
I hope this has been of assistance. If you have any other questions, please get back to me.
How many more rights issues can shareholders take?? Would the next one be at 1.5p or lower?
Kurt needs to bring some money in this year or Beowulf dies!
He’s had a lot of time to work through scenarios whilst waiting for the concession. I hope he demonstrates that very soon
Stu,
You can't explain every twist and turn in sp to some logic - sps just don't work that way. put another way sps done rise or fall in a straight line. If you haven't seen this yourself (because you're new to this game) pick any share and look!
