Why the drop from that RNS?!
Yeah, just thinking that even if we caught Mara and Riot up by MCap, at the moment our SP would still only be something like ~$10 vs their $34 & $49, and if the US is potentially the bigger market then their perception and desire to invest in what they see as the best ie highest share priced company could be a consideration?
I've been wondering if we do go for Nasdaq listing whether PW would consider a consolidation of 5-1 or even 10-1 simultaneously or shortly after?
Reason being the Yanks simply love seeing a high headline share price rather than considering MCap, are comfortable owning percentages of high priced shares, and that sub-$5 shares are still formally considered 'Penny Stocks' and therefore not investable by certain institutions. That final point should be irrelevant to us soon though.
Flip side is the opposite seems true of UK investors.
Any thoughts?
Amazing RNS!
I love that we were tempering expectations yesterday thinking the same as January would be a result in the shorter month, and then PW pulls 129 out of the hat! Hahaha!
And the confidence of being paid in BTC! I guess when you’ve just banked what he did from his options you have some breathing room to be able to do that and ride out any volatility, but still, what a move.
"Got in on the last drop to 70" and I suppose you sold at the top at 320?
" will add when it drops back again" what, you mean like it did from 320 to 200 last week?
Why the new account by the way? You're clearly not new to the boards
Oh, I realised 100% return in SAR back in the 2011 days, but that was only £1200
I need to learn to sell and not be greedy, that's cost me dearly.
I got swept up in RRL back in 2011, was perhaps 10k up at one point, but when it all went tits up and I never sold on the way down I've got 11grands worth of shares still that are now worth approximately £33. Yes 33 single pounds.
My best return should have been BMN, and still is to be fair, I bought that in 2013, watched it go up a bit and down a lot, held on and eventually ten bagged my initial £2.5k buy. All in I had about about £10k in it that was worth £50k in late 2018 at 48p, and didn't sell. Everyone expected it to keep going to a quid. The price of Vanadium collapsed and so did the share price, watched it dwindle to about £13k, watched it back to £23k, eventually sold out over the last couple of months for £18k. Still happy with £8k profit.
£13k of that (+4 more) is now in here at 208p average - I wish the size of each buy had been reversed, my first buy being £500 at 56p, my last £8k at 308p!
And £5k is in KR1 at 100p
So £9k up in 2 months so far.
I stayed away form any active interest in the markets for the last few years, too busy with my old job, missed out completely on all the covid stocks over the last year, but started looking to make this money work for me again in October last year, and caught wind of RMS. Should have made a couple of grand on there when it spiked, but obviously didn't sell! Fortunately I did get fed up with it and sold at break even a couple of days before it went tits up and would have lost almost 50%.
Starting to learn to protect my capital at last!
Next lesson is to remember to BTFD instead of going in heavy on the rise. And maybe commit more early on - If that £500 initial buy here had been £5000 I'd be a very happy Mango right now!
It's like therapy this!!
I was wondering just the other day what it would take to build a completely energy self sufficient mining plant on the scale we are talking about.
I wonder if it’s doable in Texas with a combination of solar and wind, and BMN’s VRFB storage batteries?
Hahaha! Fingers crossed for the former option LB!
Fingers crossed!
Another 10-15% day would do nicely.
Easyells, yes, 17:38 I got a notification from Vox.
TheProphet and Bandit, agreed.. add RRL to the list of shattered dreams shares.
I won’t even buy an Argo hoodie til the share has given me something to shout about, but I know there are people who have already cashed out significant sums.
hahaha! I was just going to say there are loads of AR60 plates that are dirt cheap, including AR60 BMW for the fella who was getting a new X5 from his profits!
AR60 - BYR, FAB, FAV, FFS, FUN, JAG, LOV, LUV, LVR, NOT (argonaut?!)

ATH for ARB? We touched 320p or thereabouts as BTC was running towards $60k
I like this bit...
“ The stock lies in the middle of a very wide and strong rising trend in the short term and a further rise within the trend is signaled. Given the current short-term trend, the stock is expected to rise 349.45% during the next 3 months and, with a 90% probability hold a price between £6.92 and £13.99 at the end of this 3-month period.”
Liquidity/volume, or lack thereof.
I had that with another share I sold, when I rang them to ask why I couldn't get a quote that was what they told me.
With thanks to the people who originally compiled and subsequent editors...

Agreed, LB, and if that is what he's on then all the more reason to bank a bonus.
300k is a great whack but not so much that you can necessarily afford to ignore an opportunity to put upwards of 1.5M in the bank which will I'm sure will have a fairly significant long term benefit for his family.
Let's not forget he didn't sell on all of his options and has ended up with an increased shareholding.
I don't know what his salary is, but I'd say he more than deserves to bank that bonus.
I'm just about to start on a loft conversion and complete refurb, if I'd found Argo late last year Argo would be paying for it. As it is I'm hoping , and fairly confident, it will be significantly replenishing my savings after they finish the hemorrhaging they're about to take.
I can't answer the direct question as to why, but I can give you the following list of places that you can buy online if it helps you or anyone else...
