I wonder how many there are of us with the ARB - KR1 - COIN trifecta?
I'm happy to sit on them all for ten years and see where this goes.
I wonder if all this is a precursor to us building the world’s first carbon neutral/negative mining facility?
It's not very nice sitting here with a 30p average that's for sure. But I'm long and strong, and will average down when this settles.
Pretty miserable day everywhere today.
600, I think the 3 years accounts was to do with qualifying for a possible change to a premium listing on the LSE so that we could be eligible for the FTSE250, rather than anything to with Nasdaq
No, the $5 thing isn't a Nasdaq requirement, the consensus here is that we met the requirements when we traded above $4 for a period of time (I think that figure is right).
I believe the $5 'Penny stock' definition does prevent certain funds and institutions from buying though, so once we hold above that level and are hopefully on Nasdaq we will have the triple whammy of prestige, easier retail buying, and potential institutional buying which will perhaps see us move towards the Riot and Mara Mcap figures.
Xenor- Agreed. :0)
(and Breacon!)
Prophet - agreed, it was a pure PR play to be able to say he was the first CEO to get paid in Bitcoin
Minicheddar - true, as you say it could be swings and roundabouts for him with any potential increase in shareprice offsetting the loss of BTC given the size of his shareholding
Xenor - absolutely, but that wasn't my point. Leaving X-amount of cash doing nothing in the bank (except depreciating as well?) whilst spending the equivalent of BTC doesn't make sense if you believe in BTC's continued rise.
I would hazard a guess that PW is doing nothing with his BTC salary except hodling it.
Think about it.. he's supposedly on £150-200k salary and he just exercised and sold £1.5M of options before deciding to have his salary converted to BTC every month. That easily gives him cash to live on for a few years while his personal BTC stash increases and grows in value along the way.
And despite the possible pr value, if you believe BTC is going to keep on going up in value why on earth would you buy a depreciating asset with an appreciating asset?!
In 5 years time he'd have a £10k car that has possibly cost him ten times that in the lost appreciation of the BTC he spent on it
He is not daft.
Wonder what's caused that this afternoon?
To be brutally honest... f@ck him.
Thanks, I wasn’t aware of that.
What makes you think of IOVLabs and an rto?

Great summary, thanks
Afternoon chaps and ladies. Been watching this this week, kicking myself the last two days and this morning, but I’ve joined the party with 3738 at 30p
Very interested in where this could go, the artword is embracing NFTs like I don’t know what. A well known street artist I’m FB friends with has started selling NFT based artworks on Rarible, and I really do think it’s about to explode.
Adding this to ARB and KR1 to have most crypto angles covered without actually owning any crypto currency myself.
Although, I’m now looking at how to buy ETH so that I can maybe buy one of that artists NFT’s with some crypto profits in the coming weeks/months and really put my money where my mouth is!
Cheers and good luck all!
Hahaha! Quality!
Obviously there are no other fruit related usernames so I win my round by default! :0)
I’m always long(ing) for a Greggs Steak Bake myself.
The leafy ‘burbs of Norf Londonshire.
Exactly Blonity.
Exactly London-Balling.
Exactly Cornishpixie.
Emerik, you can't have it both ways. You're either invested or you're trading it, and it swings and roundabouts either way.
If you're actively trading it then surely you sold and banked a packet at 320 the other week and bought back in at these levels anyway.
As I see it Argo is in a stronger position than ever to capitalise on the coming months and years of Bitcoin's continued rise in value and decrease in volatility as it becomes increasingly more mainstream and corporate/institutionally invested.
A lot of he people moaning are either simply being greedy, or disingenuous about their reasons for moaning.
And the people who are doing their damnedest to spread fear and discredit the actions of PW and the company , well they can just **** off.
