Spent a good few hours independently researching this company (something everyone should do before investing) and am very happy to hold irrespective of daily sp movements until my first slice target of £10 is hit.

Really seems like the tremendous potential here is still very much under the radar and the company have updates pending in more than one area so am expecting an amazing rest of the year ahead! GL all holders moving forward here!

Yes, that would be amazing if that could materialise this year as would mean an sp of £12.50! As always time will tell!

Won’t the covidity results expected this month be more of a catalyst for the sp moving up much higher? Even though granted todays news was extremely positive in its own right no doubt!

So the covid vaccine that scancell are working on currently should in fact be the catalyst for a significant re rate in the coming weeks!

Biotechnology group Scancell shot higher after it began recruiting patients for its cancer trial.

The AIM-listed firm from Oxford is running the first clinical trial where a drug is given to people for the first time in patients who have triple negative breast cancer, ovarian cancer, head and neck cancer and renal cancer.

Scancell will give the vaccine Modi-1 and hopes to have data available later this year and in 2023.

Shares climbed 57.2 per cent, or 6.15p, to 16.9p."

Seems like shortish term the sp could move into the £1-£2 area once the gravity of todays news filters out to the wider market and longer term from next year the sp price will be dictated by what figure can you put on something that effectively saves lives? guess the sp could end up around the 10/15/£20 + range if the efficacy is proven? these pharma plays if successful really do move to be fair and routinely end up being valued/bought out for billions of pounds so the potential is pretty amazing!

Seems like results could be out anywhere from 2-3 weeks to perhaps up to 2 months, obviously nobody knows exactly but at least we arnt looking at a wait of many months it would seem anyway.

Yes, presumably should see some nice press coverage before tomorrow which should make the wider market aware of todays transformational update, expecting to see a much higher new year high come close this Thursday, 50-75p would probably be about right. Lets see!

Yes, if it was already proven up then the sp would already be multiple pounds, investors are currently speculating on the tremendous potential here. With high risk comes high reward hence the 50-100 + ROI here, like every investment on the stock market it is a punt but a punt that could see investors see their stake increase by 100/200 times, on that basis I personally feel it’s worth holding but everyone must do their own independent research and decide if it’s for them, if it’s not, no worries, simply move on to something else that you do believe in!

If the first human trial results are expected as soon as next week then I guess the sp could be in the pounds much sooner than years then! Wow!

Presumably many years for a £10 sp though?

Hopefully so yes, not sure about the NCYT potential that I’ve seen a few mention as that went to £12.50 but had only 70 odd mill shares in issue whereas this has over 800 mill, still think the potential is pretty dam amazing here though short amid and long term so never say never when it comes to pharma shares!

Fair enough if you don't agree Gordon, that is just my personal expectation moving forward, I invest in risky AIM 0&G company's to hopefully see big rewards over a relatively short space of time, I'm taking a big risk so expect a big reward, if I wanted safe I would invest in the FTSE 100.

If I didn’t feel that 4/5p was possible this year then I wouldn’t be invested here still as there are many other similar AIM plays out there right now but I feel this one has the best prospects over the next few weeks and months. Only in my personal opinion though.
