Dodger, there have been many times myself that I would have liked to buy but haven't had funds, I have very little left to buy any more at this point so will have to wait a couple of months until I have funds to top up again and obviously the price could drop in that time which will mean that my 3 top ups in the last 6 trading days would have not been the right call as I could have gained more shares by holding off, got a bit carried away this week with regards to top ups but it's impossible to know when to top up as you hope you have found the bottom but usually that isn't the case is it. I didn't mean it to come across as you have interpreted it, fellow genuine LTH's on here know that that wouldn't have been my intention as i feel and have felt the pain here as much as other LTH's, maybe even more so as Iv'e got every spare penny invested in this working out.

cheeky top of of 20000 shares @ 3.87, now holding 420000 in total, wasn't sure whether to hold fire just in case of a fall back but as with yesterdays top up I just thought that we are seeing the pr being ramped up by the company so thought I'd buy them now just in case we see a few bigger jumps like we saw this morning, nice volume toady also, would be nice to break 5p at some point this week but 4.40 seems to be a tough nut to crack for some inexplicable reason, anyway hopefully we will see the sp increase as we get closer to the end of this month. GL genuine investors whether you decide to buy, sell or hold.

Of course they have underwritten many loans in the past but it seems the further north the company is the less chance that any guarantee will be granted, seems like there is real momentum building now for the government to offer a guarantee, most probably would give us the best chance of securing one off them if an election is announced sooner rather than later, it doesn't matter what Labour promise, you can promise anything when you know you most probably won't be in power to enact any of those promises.

So we need the conservatives to step up, would be encouraging to see javid or bojo visit woodsmith during the election push for votes, they have something like 7 out of 8 seats to lose in that area so it makes fiscal and political sense to offer the guarantee.

SXX is a completely different proposition to Thomas Cook for many reasons, either you don't realise that which is the case you shouldn't be investing in the stock market or you mischievously purposefully conflating SXX and Thomas Cook as being similar business propositions when they clearly are not. I'm not sure which of the two above are worse, both equally depressing though.

i'm more tempered and realistic these days, the 12 months would test anyone but still of course supremely confident of the company bringing this project to fruition and LTH's being rewarded.

I only state my personal opinions and views and do not state 'buy, buy buy!' and the such like in comparison to troll/deramper crews who explicitly state 'the company is going into administration' etc etc so I disagree with you that I am comparable to the derampers/trolls antics on here but I believe you are a genuine LTH so I respect your opinion sir but vehemently dispute your conclusion on this occasion.

Obviously the above was meant to state 3p as opposed to 4p, although a nice strong week like last week and i might have to try and grab some more while I can under 4/5p as we have seen here how quickly the sp can move up and unfortunately down!

Very special news today, or should I say an indicator of what news may very well come at the end of this month, obviously you shouldn't count your chickens and all that but CF didn't need to mention anything about end of October did he so feeling fairly confident that everything will be much clearer by the end of this month. Topped up today on the back of the potential clarity that we could see at the end of this month, managed to round up holding to 400,000, still have a bit of money waiting just in case it dips under 4p, hopefully it won't come to having to buy more but will have to see if we get a nice lift the rest of this week after todays developments. Nice start to the week fellow LTH's!

In a nutshell, CF seems to be saying that the details of how the shaft sinking will be financed separately will be known by the end of the month and within the update at the end of this month he will state how everything will be financed moving forward then the plan seems to be once the shaft sinking is completed then we will be able to go back to the bond buyers and Government who will then be much more likely to commit, so it seems like we will only be waiting until end of this month for news and then however they will be financed will be implemented over the next 6 months then after 6 months will will be much more likely to get bonds sold and gain Government backing. All in all the most positive article Iv'e seen for a long time!

I'm an experienced investor in this share as have been invested here now for 6 years, pretty much put my life on hold waiting for the mine to at least be built (did I just state that bit about putting my life on hold? sometimes I'm a little too candid when I post on here, but hey the one thing I am is genuine and honest with everything I post on here, even my harshest critic on here would give me that I would hope!)

I suppose my positivity stems from the fundamentals of the project which are compelling, no doubt it has been a challenging 12 months here for LTH's but a project this size was never going to be plain sailing, mining projects never are, as long as the BOD can overcome this hurdle then LTH's should then ultimately be very well rewarded moving forward, the price is where it is currently because markets hate uncertainty so have priced this stock accordingly, once the BOD sort this financing issue out of the way then there will be more certainty for everyone involved.

Don't take too much notice of articles that have been printed recently, most of them are hyperbolic, sensationalist, scaremongering more than likely backed by a competitor in one way or another, also think of it the sense that if you're an editor at a publication do you go with the headline 'Sirius pulls out of bond/JPM deal to re structure finance ahead of final stretch of build' or would you go with ' YORKSHIRE MINE ON VERGE OF COLLAPSE!' obviously you would go with the one that will get more people to click on it and read so I don't take any notice of those type of things or let them sway my decision making.

Do I usually get it right? Well looking at my trading account currently some would say no, the only positive thing about the recent drop is that I now have a new target holding of 500,000 shares whereas 2 years ago I would have most probably settled for 300,000 so at least if and when the mine is completed I should make much more than I thought I would at the start.

Anyway above are just my personal views, please make sure that you do plenty of research before deciding to buy, sell, hold or not invest at all here.

deos, you will know at some point within the next few months, maybe weeks, after that update if it's negative your shares will be worth less than they are now then again positive finance news and you could be looking at anywhere between 15p-50p + at some point within the next 12 months only in my opinion of course, obviously this/any investment is not without risks, I'm personally going to top up again a couple more times if the sp stays below 5p for the 6 weeks or so, thats presuming news doesn't hit before then which if positive I won't need to add any more. GL whatever course of action you choose to take.

Unlikely that they will allow it, it will just be a matter of what sort of deal the BOD come up with as to how much it effects shareholders negatively, as someone pointed out the other day, the first line of the finance update stated:

"The Board of Sirius Minerals plc ("Sirius" or the "Company") today announces changes to its financing and development plan and a comprehensive review of the various strategic options available to the Company to maximise value for its shareholders."

So they clearly understand that whatever way they go about completing the building of the mine it needs to cause as little damage to shareholders as possible so on that basis I'm expecting something positive soon, hopefully before the beginning of December, something that will get everything firmly back on track, presumably first thing is to get the shafts sunk then once that is completed they are more likely to get the bonds away and get Government support, hopefully we won't be looking at too much of a delay, i can put up with a 6 month delay if that is what is required to raise the finance on the best terms for shareholders, at least that way we will still be looking at watching the opening ceremony in mid/late 2021.

So Cherokee, you are going on posts on Facebook yet sheps has physically witnessed with his own eyes that there is still alot of activity on site so on that basis i'l go with the source who has actually been to the site as opposed to facebook which is full of fake news to be fair.

yeah they are back from a break no doubt and are on the night shift, it's crazy that they even clock on to post when the market isn't even open.

jaskew, I contacted the company with regards to this issue and they responded with the following info:

"The current minimum market cap to remain eligible for FTSE 250 inclusion is £541 million. The FTSE 250 is cut on a quarterly basis with the next review being early December 2019. Companies which fall below the minimum market cap would drop into the FTSE small cap index which is part of the FTSE all share index. Certain tracker funds investment criteria will be to invest in FTSE 100 or FTSE 250 Companies only. Leaving the FTSE 250 would mean certain index tracker funds may exit the stock"

So basically it's not like we would be back on AIM, not sure what effect if any being moved out of the ftse 250 would have, in any event it could be that when the next quarterly reshuffle takes place it may be that we will have the market cap back up to the required level meaning that we will regain our place back in the ftse 250, I'm sure the company will be doing everything to make sure that our market cap is sufficiently high enough by the beginning of December so that we keep our position in the ftse 250 so nothing to be too concerned about in my opinion.

And remember the quartis and Norges paid around 15p per share but are still holding, So am I then.

This week just gets better and better, sp increase and Danny boy decides (or more than likely his boss decided for him) that it's time to move on to a different BB to troll a different group of investors, hope all this good news continues next week!

I'l take that as a backhanded compliment KOH, even ticked up your post, guess there is a first time for everything eh, I suspect it will be the one and only time I tick up one of your posts but there you go.

Many on here have lost alot more than 'a few hundred quid' I'm currently just over 50 grand down, you might only only deal in a few hundred quid yourself but many have everything riding on this project turning out right, which it should do just has ben a challenging last few months that's all.

I haven't touched a drop of alcohol in just over 5 years so that isn't something that is contributing to my outlook, I just decided to save the money I was spending on that and put it in here, seems like 'our first sp milestone gathering' may be delayed a little but when it finally comes around I may well have a little tipple or 10 then!
