Defos, like a typical deramper/troll you left out the rest of my post where I stated in context that it was a nice recovery day in the context that the sp was down over 14 % first thing this morning, why am I even bothering responding to deramper/trolls, it's pointless isn't it.

Nice recovery day sp wise bearing in mind the sp dropped to 3p early on and was over 14 % down at one point.

Managed to grab a few at 3.23 not sure if anyone would have even got a quote as low as 3.1

Great post Alan, totally agree with your post, couldn't have summed up my thoughts any better at this point in time.

I think you may be a little naive when it comes to the workings of these BB's if you are not aware of the teams of trolls/derampers that are sent to different BB's at one time or another in an orchestrated effort to damage sp's and companys reputations, companys have taken legal action in the past against these teams, you can find all of this information freely on the internet if you so wish to look it up. I agree, the derampers/trolls were getting really excited last night/this morning that they may get their wish and the company fail but sad day for them as the company have unequivocally and categorically stated that they are not going the private route, the derampers/trolls are gutted no doubt, they had their moment in the sun just after the strategic review news was released, since then the sp hasn't gone to 1.5p/zero as they/their bosses were hoping.

Franscesca Washtell was the author in the DM. maybe as investors we should let her know that the article is incorrect and inform her of the companys statement today setting the record straight and then in turn if she has any integrity she will post a follow up correction on her twitter account? So if the takeover/going private option did ever proceed they would have to pay current shareholders at least 27p per share as things stand as that is the highest price that has been paid in the last 12 months, obviously thats much less than I envisaged receiving 6 years ago when I set out investing here but I can think of much worse outcomes.

It's irrelevant now anyway as the company have categorically stated today that the company will not be going private so no worries on that front but at least we know the minimum price we would receive if it were to happen in the future.

See below for post from blueshare site where a PI contacted IR today and they confirmed that it is most defiantly not taking the company private, IR stated the following today:

"the Daily Mail article was 'not an absolute true reflection of what was discussed in the media interview, this, and several other (media) interviews that Mr Fraser has given have been taken completely out of context and to provoke public interest.
There is NO intention to take Sirius Minerals private, our focus is to complete the Strategic Review and unlocking the value of our Project for shareholders, our community, and the UK as a whole".

So there you have it from the horses mouth, should be a very interesting week next week, nice exposure for us today anyway, I suspected that it was typical press fun and games but always good that the company have come out so quickly to quash any negatively with regards to going private. Looking good now for a very special couple of weeks sp wise.

I topped up again today, not sure if I will be topping up Monday as if this is true (not sure why he would go to a national paper before issuing the news in an RNS first as surely what he has said would be considered price sensitive?)

If indeed he is going private then the shareholders have to be agreeable to any offer correct? in that case the only way that shareholders would all be in profit is if whoever wants to buy the company offers minimum 52p per share as that way no shareholders will lose any of their investment which is the least that you can expect bearing in mind the patience and support that shareholders have given the company over the years.

The quarti's and Norges paid 15p recently so presumably they have been in touch with CF recently and are confident that they will see a nice profit on their recent buys.

I would expect to see the sp rise sharply Monday if this news turns out to be correct, I suppose it will come down to what value you put on an asset that lasts for 100 years and generates billions of pounds over that period, whatever happens it's going to be alot more than 3.5p thats for sure, it's just a matter of how much more?

Pretty much a consolidation week this week, at least we should hear something possibly even next week as I emailed IR earlier and when I asked if they still expect to give an update to investors before the end of this month they responded with the following:

"it remains our aspiration to provide an update towards the end of this month and we remain hopeful this is the case."

So they are sounding confident, therefore I am looking forward to an update before the end of this month.

Ok my bad, I stated I would try and ignore them then they get me to bite within 20 seconds, ok from now I will defiantly try to not respond to them!

This company is a 'pos' and 'the product is rubbish' why the hell are you on this BB posting then???

Thanks guys, I know I should react to the trolls/derampers, I don't usually to be fair, will defiantly try harder to ignore them, hopefully they have had their window to be able to bash the sp and once next news is out we see a re rate.

Well in that case CF had a point then didn't he, obviously people shouldn't invest in shares based on what they read on BB's, if thats what they are doing then that isn't a good strategy and they should take advise from financial professionals like quite a few LTH's have.

So when it goes back up they will be back in profit quicker and they will ultimately end up with bigger gains in the future.

I don't think Iv'e posted on here everytime I've bought, in fact I know that the majority of the time I haven't posted when I have bought, to be fair you have people come on here and say that they have sold X amount of shares for whatever reason so there's no difference is there, surely you arnt suggesting that other people would buy on the back on me stating that I've had a little top up?

I didn't give any recommendation in my post with regards to what others do though did I? everyone has to weigh everything up before they decide whether to buy, sell, hold or not invest at all.

i'm sure there are some who bs on here but if i was like that then I would surely try and depict myself as being in a better position then I am wouldn't I, I mean I'm 75 % down at the moment so nothing to be happy about is it, today was in fact my 35th buy, in the past when I bit at a deramper/troll I preceded to post every single trade that I had made up until that point, I could do the same again to prove that I'm not full of bs but fellow LTH's on here know that I am genuine I think and thats all that that matters to me really.

Hi Alan, do you mean bhp may want to take us over or come on board as a partner? obviously if they wanted to take us over they would most probably have to pay at least 50p per share due to the size of our assets so perhaps they may prefer to come on board and join us and make some nice profits that way, either way I'm sure you are right that they will be keeping a close eye on us due to the potential and value of what we have to offer.

More than likely bellers, it seems that the tremendous pace continues with the build of the project, all we need now is some clarity on the finance and we could be in for a very enjoyable end to this year after a pretty challenging last 12 months for LTH's but patience was, has and continues to be the order of the day until Sir Chris cuts the red ribbon and utters those immortal words 'I now declare the woodsmith mine open' it will be a very special day for LTH's thats for sure as by then we could be at least halfway to the £1 party gathering so obviously will be satisfying from a fiscal perspective also.
