Tex, there are other posters on that board who expect to see somewhere near 30p possibly this year, I wasn't ramping all I said was if I was invested there I would like to see the sp over 30p by the end of this year, I really think you are being a bit harsh on me but everyone is entitled to an opinion so no worries.

I guess if these did ever hit £1 before any takeover offer then any holders at that time could potentially be looking at £2 takeover price? obviously I'm guessing that would be a few years down the road? Thanks

Even if that is the case it's CF who needs to want to steer the outcome in a different direction but as things stand it's not looking that way unfortunately, I really think us shareholders deserve some sort of communication from management and also they seem to be ignoring shareholders offers of how this takeover could be avoided, extremely frustrating, it has made me feel really very unwell over recent days so I hope there will be a change of direction and some communication from the BOD asap

Within journalism you have 3 types of reporting 'on the record' which obviously means they can name the source, 'off the record' which means they can't repeat or print what they are told and 'on background' which basically means they are told something but the person asks not to be named, so in this case the source is most probably someone high up in the company who has confirmed that the reporting is correct or have leaked the news themselves but have stipulated that they must only be categorised as a source of the information and cannot be identified in the reporting by name.

I think maybe if I get out in the fresh air tomorrow hopefully, see some sunlight then I will re access everything taking into account what some have kindly taken the time to post here this evening.

But you're a brilliant investor IBAB arnt you, you timed everything perfectly, presumably you must be very wealthy from your IT career and pot washing in the Army or the SAS or whatever character you were when you woke up on any given day.

I don't recall any of them or anyone else on here ever stating 'there will be a takeover early January 2020 during the strategic review' if you can find me where and when they posted that then I will hold my hands up, also alot of them were posting that the sp was going to '1.5p-Zero' did they get that right as well? it's just I haven't seen the sp at 1.5p or Zero for that matter as yet.

I went all in here and like I say am pretty sure I will go all in on Emmerson, I know it's not a recommended approach to investing but it hasn't worked out here too well has it. 8-12 % per year isn't going to cut it at this point, Iv'e already wasted over 6 years here so am going to most probably move on to EML, sorry if some of you don't agree with that strategy, don't worry it won't effect any of you, you just do what you think is best and I'll do the same.

To my uninitiated, uneducated, deluded mind EML make a compelling investment case (don't they all!) they have an Australian fellow as CEO who looks very smart in his interviews and makes it sound like a very good investment (where have I seen that before!) I just hope he isn't connected to any of the BOD from here and will not end up conning his shareholders, I know, it should really be a case of once bitten, twice shy but I need to make back the £33,000 that I am about to lose here, Iv'e effectively wasted the last 6 years being invested here but will just have to pray that by some miracle Emmerson's projections actually come to fruition.

I opened the curtains for the first time in 5 days today as have been going through a 5 days grieving process for my hard earned £33,000, think I will try and have a wash and clean teeth tonight and then it looks like I will be jumping on the Emmerson train maybe even before the end of this week, guess I will have to try and start to be a bit more positive then and like I say hope and pray that I have picked the right share this time!

Hi Alan, I'm still holding but am already looking elsewhere to see where I can make my losses back, have lost complete faith in this BOD so it might turn out to be a blessing in disguise if that nightmare 18 months is finally put to bed this week, I mean it's just too demoralising when you realise you have trusted a BOD for over 6 years who then turn out to be completely the opposite! how about you?

Shorts seem to have drop alot over the past few days, now down to 3.82 % from over 6 %. Presumably they have sold up as there isn't really anything left to short if the takeover happens in the next few days which now seems likely, no doubt some of these companys holding shorts had a heads up from someone, this whole thing skinks to high heaven, the bit about AAL and SXX being in contact for 9 months will most probably be explained away as the discussions were very informal blah blah blah, in the end how can anyone disprove that? we can't so can't nail him on that unfortunately, of course he should have disclosed that they were in contact with AAL but I guessing he will wriggle out of that one with something like 'we have always been in contact with many different entities with regards to the best way to move the company forward' blah blah blah, I'm not sure if legally he will have broken any rules, just morally, which isn't against the law, these people are very clever though arnt they, he sucked alot of people in and then dumped us when we were of no more use to him, that's how it feels anyway!

Yes Oli, realistic yet optimistic, to be fair it seems like there is lots of vital news due this year that could well see the sp many multiples of where it is now, think someone said around 22p at some point this year has been predicted, so that would be a good return for starters, then it's just a matter of patience which fortunately after being in SXX for over 6 years without selling a share I know I can be patient.

Any from everything I've read it seems that this project is very much under the radar at this moment in time but that should change before the end of this year I would have thought.

From what I have researched, the feasibility study, mining permits and debt finance are all due to be completed this year? if that is the case and they all go to plan then we should possibly see many multiples of todays sp by the end of this year, I'd like to see 30p + by the end of this year ideally but then I am very greedy like that as would be looking to recoup losses made after being in SXX which has been a nightmare over last 18 months!

When I logged into my HL account this morning it states 'Bid Situation' on the info page for sirius, in my tired and depressed state I first read it as 'bad situation' the more I think about it if it did actually say that it would be more of an apt and fair description.
