seems to be that the sp is extremely undervalued and should be around the £2 area according the a post on the aforementioned ADVFN thread:

I was some what amazed by yesterdays market reaction to the announcement as clearly this was anything but a duster which some were portraying. If we roll back to a 39p closing price last Friday to now I can only offer the comment that the market has it wrong and we should be at a significantly higher share price than last Friday given the news.

The external verification from Baker Hughes is truly staggering and as an endorsement is is very hard to argue against.

So where should it be?

Canaccord currently sits at risked base 99p based on Alkaid + SMD only
OR £1.86 risked for Talitha but this includes nothing for BFF (Theta West)

W H Ireland Risked based valuation sits at 89p but does not include Theta West or Slope Fan

Clearly both the above we should expect to see significant upgrades for the zones the are currently including and then some fairly substantial upgrades for the inclusion of the Elephant that is Theta West. Lets not forget Leonis, Down dip Alkaid etc

OK so where do we go with Theta West I have long held a view that this would be in the 5-10b barrels of oil recoverable and it is good to see Telemachus put forward 9b as a number and I do think this is something we should all be talking about as it is quite simply huge.

In my own valuation based on £5b allowing for dilution farm down/farm out and a 10% probability of success for Theta West I land at £1.12 for this zone alone. I don't think 10% is the correct factor but it is a number that allows others easily to adjust accordingly. Maybe 5b is too high at this stage but 10% is too low so I am not budging on £1.12 minimum.

Clearly we are talking £2+ on the most discounted of valuations at which point I am 100% convinced 26p is the wrong price. If we were sat at £1 today I would have a view we were massively undervalued.

All of the above is risked based so not a blue sky valuation almost where we should be today and still isn't factoring all the other upgrades or Leonis.

are genuine holders expecting todays update to be to the sp leading up to the resources update that is due within the next 30 days? I'd like to think that possibly even £1.50/£2 + could be possible in the not too distant future if the enormity of the resource filters through to the states and here?

Todays update seems very very special, I'm just wondering how many hundreds of % it will translate into with regards to the sp over the next few weeks leading up to confirmation of the size of the companys resources?

Some seem to think that $100 sp is possible in the future (interestingly this stock hasn't even caught on much stateside as there are not many followers or comments, just imagine when interest really takes off over there where the sp will move up to!)

They are due to release it within the next month, presumably once they do and it is as positive as expected the sp should settle in the £'s ?

Where does everyone expect todays amazing revelations will take the sp between now and Close Friday? would like to think that £1 + is genuinely possible after todays incredible update!

Interesting, so any takeover offer would have to be x5/10 from here, obviously any bidding war would see even more multiples! and like you say it's not like it would be a hostile takeover as the company is currently in such a strong position cash and production wise, would like to think that we will be past 3p before any takeover offers start coming in.

Is fair value right around 2-3p? or quite a bit higher in everyone's opinion?

What would they have to pay? 10p? more? less?

You think that 0.65/0.75 + today and 1p + by the end of this week?

How much undervalued right now in everyone's opinion? £3-£5 + undervalued at some point in the future possible? NCYTesqe potential? that rose x 68 in only a few months.

Presumably it's ready to be filled with new info that is included in further RNS(s) this week?

whilst everyone waits for the next transformational updates! next news could hit any day now!

Hopefully confirmation will come within the next couple of weeks that the (at least) 50 million pounds is in the companys coffers and what direction they are going in with the money and obviously what terms the funding is under, then we should see the sp move up significantly, hopefully at least 5-10 times the current price.

It's possible at some point in my opinion dependant on what direction the new BOD go in, completely different outlook and sentiment here now!
