Have FSHG had a reply from FRR?
It would nice to get a post from B-2-0 or JRjnr saying all this is just noise.
But I won't hold my breath.....

Steve. Believe me I need this to come good for us, I had half my pension in this and the other half in SXX. 10months to state pension, no work due to covid, just been put on universal credit.... All we can hope for is a political change and a new psa/ JV or deal of some sort.

The arb panel obviously knew the GOGC would go for termination of the PSC. but still had to declare a material breach if they believed it was one.

GOGC claimed that if FRR had relinquished the unexplored 99% they would have retendered it and tried to claim damages because of the 2 years without income from a new explorer. The arb didn't award them anything as they hadn't a history of retendering a block where someone was currently working.

Steve. FRR tried to argue that article 9.5 of the psc didn't put a time limit on the return, if more data was required but the arb judges didnt agree.

Hi Arsenal. Sadly I missed the bit before due to speed reading. It states a material breach fundamental to the core of the psc due to not relinquishing the unexplored areas. Frr tried to say it didn't apply because article 9.5 of the psc states no time limit applies and that it had been agreed to by a commitee, unfortunately the arb didn't agree.
Sorry for raising peoples hopes.
I'm finally coming to the ODR's view that we are not in a good place.
