Posters do well to highlight the value of Vanadium in our tailngs, but these figures are difficult to evaluate without an estimate of the cost of extracting it. The disolved gold in sea water is worth millions, but it would cost billions to extract it. I don't even know how we are planning to get the vanadium out. Is it a leaching process, as suggested by previous BMR news releases, or a gravity separation technique as, I believe, is planned at other tailings projects in Namibia?
Whatever process is being considered, it will need, as a minimum, an enviro license which can take a while to come through. Are we in a position to at least apply for this yet?
Until answers to these questions are known, gloating over the value of the buried treasue falls under the heading of 'wishful thinking', though the steady rise in Vanadium prices can be nothing but good.
