I, for one, am looking forward to the interims, whenever they come out. You called it right Kalan, and I am now mainly in cash. I have come to accept that I will not live long enough to reap the profits of my investments, but I think my wife and kids will.
These things make you reconsider your priorities, and I count myself immensely lucky and pretty happy despite the carnage of my savings. Geat day yesterday walking on Stanage edge (2 metres away from others). Nice meal planned for this evening. Friends and relatives in Greece, Spain, France and Italy all well and positive.
Platinum may have bottomed. Ditto Rhodium. Palladium holding. JLP with its low unit cost and small workforce is well placed to survive. The majors will take a bigger hit.
Increases in Covid cases and deaths make wretched reading, but the scale is linear, not logarithmic. There will be further peaks in China and Korea and Russia is yet to be hit, but we are learning fast.
For these reasons I am earmarking a modest sum to trade once the new ISA season starts in April. Looking at a few pharmas.
Enjoy the better weather everyone. When our Covid death toll is five times its current value, it will equal deaths on the road (in people without preceding health problems) for 2019. Stay safe and walk.
