It says "one of the reactors at the Ashland Facility failed whilst operating and, consequently, production of CoalswitchTM at the Ashland Facility has been temporarily suspended" -> Does that mean they can still produce but less per hour?
And "Except for the reactors, all other equipment at the Ashland Facility remains operational." -> is it now one reactor or reactors?
So I think with a 50tph plant AEG could provide 50t/h*16h*365d=292.00t per Year (if the production runs 24/7 we have 438000t)... Who should build that 4+ plants for the 2 Million tonnes needed? Or are my calcs incorrect ;)
Guys, why do you think is AEG (non-official account) tweeting an article about some japanese electric power company which is looking for some coal substitution? Maybe a hint? I think Japan was marked on the map with possible interested parties...
Agreed @Seattle
I also think that Gravendonck would not have gotten into that deal, if some inofficial negative information were known. So now we are waiting eagerly for the results of the burn test or some international feedback / licensing...weeks?month?
