Successful realignment of the business
Strong Organic Growth in Water business
The Board is pleased to confirm that the Group finished the year to 31 March 2014 in line with management expectations.
The Group completed a successful refinancing during the year which, coupled with the divestment of its pest control and fire services divisions, has allowed it to exit the year completely focussed on its water hygiene and treatment business.
The Water business is now a national one stop water management company offering all forms of water treatment, water hygiene, including Legionella control, water risk assessments, and water conservation projects such as rain water capture and grey water re-use.
The Board is pleased to report that following the difficult start to the financial year the second half of the year, post re-financing and following the strategic realignment, has seen a ten percent growth in its Water revenue over the first half of the year. The Group has also renewed several significant Water treatment contracts in this period.
The Board believe that this business provides shareholders with a focus which can be best managed into a profitable platform for growth and looks forward to the coming year on a stable well financed basis from which further progress in the UK Water market can be made.
The Board also recognises that the Group has a breadth and depth of experience and knowledge in its staff that is second to none in the industry and would like to thank them all for their continued support, hard work and efforts in driving the business forward.
The Board expects to release preliminary results for the year ended 31 March 2014 in June 2014.
