agreed... ...and it is good "validation" that trak are interested... ...so sub 5-5.5p say may now be bargain on a stand alone basis imv (ironically where I top sliced)...I'd probably be out with my cart to load up sub 5p in the event this process fell through ...so isn't a 6.25p punt decent for a newbie with offer still possible? ...DYOR all

with EV/rev so low...and 1.2-1.5* gross profits is tasty cos acquirer must reckon plenty of savings available in admin, let alone synergies, cross selling etc ..always a wonder that so few AIM companies are not acquired lol

yes..rbn a touch pricey..but not a trade (unless premium to "modest value" much higher) cos I am LT holder biased (I need somewhere safe-ish to park me cash after all lol)... ..I agree the rotters in charge of most AIM companies need to be treated with extreme caution..ie the shares are really vehicles for playing a trading game against other investors

ah...that takes us back to discussion about the direction of markets as a whole... ...I played around with shorts on the S&P @1950-60...lost £50 overall lol...luckily accepted reality and closed...but will be v tempted in the 2050-80 range (assuming it blasts through 2000 soon) ...unsound money has played havoc with asset prices..and the bond market/large caps are worse affected than the steadyish tiddlers like rbn, sag, dwht... which all continue to look ok value to me (well dwha cos of the large discount to dwht) ...I am sure you must have looked at GBO...what puts you off?
