I'd spend the divi on buybacks at this sp ...but realistically, they will likely do the exact reverse: scale back buybacks and cut divs to decent yield...say 3-5% ......but v dependent on iron ore prices and fcf (unless they decide to threaten their bond rating by paying excessive divs by borrowing) ..I don't really care..and the BoJ ?surprise move to neg interest rates plus Janet dithering is pushing me to a (perhaps premature) "buy the dip" mindset here

tho I have 10p in focus.... if motif recovers smartly ...as I expect it may ...in current bearish market is nice to be exposed to stocks with strong prospective newsflow ....whose sp will by end 2016 be driven much more by that company specific newsflow...than US Treasuries/$, eurozone deflation, Janet dithering, china hardlanding etc etc

exactly right...I am fairly confident (but DYOR, all) that the family have control sow up via ords...which is great alignment with their management...and our interests ...what possible value would my vote - even on 9.5k shares - have???? ...so a 40% discount is puzzling (understatement)...and at extreme of historic range (again DYOR, all) ...so narrowing of discount from 40% towards 10% likely/possible ...also the EV of total Dewhurst risk capital looks too low rel to EBIT ...risks exist ofc..but the returns...potential returns...are mouthwatering rel to those risks imv

investors of my generation (made c£10m+ from nothing much... before he was 25 yrs old...by spotting what afterwards seemed glaring error/arbitrage in commercial property bust of late 1980s) says much the same.. ...he also vaguely/casually says he is interested in buying some DWHA... but I don't see the 10,000++ share buying...yet lol

rio, apc, ptd, tng, sln, mira, sim, lmi....all have multibagger potential, but then again each of those might halve lol ...dwha is my stand out slow and steady pick and I have £40k in there...looking to buy on dips...equity risk ofc ...after that ton, redt, cgs, tri...all look cheapish/decent enough...if a bit dull for red meat AIM punters

nope..that's the horror of AIM ..sometimes there is:..some times are times of plenty.. ..but sometimes the tap is turned OFF

I quite like the sounds we are hearing from the new ceo..the energy efficiency market is clearly struggling (cf commentary in ntg's interims) BUT the new team seems - sensibly enough - to have focused on profit first to provide a stable platform for future growth..and apc has always offered growth potential ...in spades lol ...the current sp seems to discount the fear of further placement enough to justify the risk of a small stake ... if a placement happens I have plenty of dry powder to treble or more my 20k holding at say 5p...and am relaxed about a £600-800 loss on my existing holding ...the charts look encouraging as well
