This looks a fruitful link-up with their global framework agreement via 'a major FTSE 100 telecommunications business' I paraphrase 'the Directors believe Citi Logic has a highley novel technology platform that the will be complementary to Tracis offering strong cross sell and upsell opportunities to the group which will expand the market into larger projects of greater size and complexity'. Terms agreed,Tracsis will invest £1m via equity and debt for 29.4% in C L. With net cash of £12m I am curious why TRCS has not brought outright ,unless they are keeping their powder dry for further acquisitions or better still increase their miserly div yield so I can compound my holding. JJ
Agree Cornish. We really need an update. Having met at a green building trade some staff, not sure if any were a BOD, but I was impressed with their enthusiasm and the products, but recent SP ls it seems asleep. Where is the DW issue , are there moves on licensing .
got my figure of 7.15 from www.shorttracker.co.uk. Also just looked, up as you do, .fca.org.uk/static/documents/short-positions-daily-update xis which now gives 7.31. K3 my intention was/is to get back in sub 60p. Each time either excess caution held me back thro checking the shorters rightly or wrongly . Missed also when on hols on Greek Isle of Lesbos. Used same strategy when Igas was targeted and ended up with more shares for the same bucks. Guess drip feed is a good sensible strategy, but present spare resources mean going in as a single buy to reduce buying costs. A fascinating if at times hair tearing game these AIM shares when we want 10 baggers ! GLA
Now up to 7.15. Am keeping a close eye on this with a view to get back having bailed out in the 90s having made a small loss using stop loss but keeping powder dry until shorts are a lot less. Knowing my luck may miss the boat on the bottom , but heyho
The uplift in the SP. was getting perilously near my stop loss , never automatic as I like to consider, Would hate to leave as the products are revolutionary. Could do with an RNS on any licenseing developments. BTW. JJ
Also Shan am unsure. Sort of half heard an item on BBC4 (I think it was ) the other day on driverless cars and trains. My thought was this must be in due course be of benefit to Tracsis with their technology. Not being technical in this area , would appreciate any comments. JJ
I too was curious about the intangibles, perhaps future site location costs, product development, only a guess, any other ideas? Had to go shopping mid week - lo and behold on the other side of the street was a PETS store. Curious,I went in. It was huge. Well stocked, clean and busy. The vets unit had three waiting, the groom unit likewise. The store was well set out and a place children would enjoy with all the displays of small animals (alive !), large colourful fish a acquariums., reptiles etc. The tills were busy. All good to see. Take me to any store and ennui sets in. But not at PETS. And we don't have a pet. BW all. JJ
Also CM , shorter Tremblant as of 1 July has closed its position. Possibly another reason why the SP has so far held up despite the Greek epic tragedy, let's hope it stays that way. Be a good topping up if it does receed. JJ
Just out of curiosity checked the shorts . Only one left now that FIL Investment seems to have closed out their position leaving just Tremblant . thus reducing the former 2.2% level to 0.53%. Despite yesterday's drop,a reaction perhaps to the private equity firm KKR's reduction in their holding, the good final results, the long term looks promising. JJ
Thanks for a good , informative post MY . The Pets directors holdings are substantial ,as can be seen on this site with no sales. What would be interesting would be where the placement went, to one party or several. I still see this as a longtime hold. JJ
Agree Looking better,Baa, steady as she goes :-) Notice a couple of Shorters have yet to close out their 2.02% position . Don't know what their initial sell sp was, but will further help to up our sp when they have to buy back, can't make sense for them to hold on . Not so grumpy JJ :-)). How about you Grumpy1 ?
Maybe,G1,the mms want to encourage buyers, the £117k trade yesterday posted after hours at 4.35pm for example. Perhaps the retreat in the general retailers ( thanks a bunch Tesco). Who knows. Today's trades are so far small .we PIs are the last to know! Any thoughts anyone? A grumpy JJ
