not if it costs you more to sell them in cost of sale than what you will get from the sale....ie sell 50 shares.. value r250 cost of sale greater than r250. only benefit goes to the stockbrokers. Selling your shares for far less than what you paid for them but still making more money than the cost of sale is a different matter altogether. ergo...manipulation in the former. realising a loss in the latter. yes its not unlawful . and yes all the lth's here are in the same boat as yourself. i dont think co will go bust and hang in there.. this share will come good . 2 to 3 years!!

yes coaldr agree with you . continuous small volumes at low sp .....costs exceed monies in. somebody is trying to decrease the ave sp over time...view to a takeover? who knows

hi i mean selling..typo....some of the trades going through on a daily basis on the jse are for v small amnts at different low prices. who sells 35 rand worth of shares? the costs to sell are greater than the trade!

Rio Fuerte Ventures president Jos� Alfaro advised that coal has outperformed other commodities in 2016/17, as policy supply disruptions drove the basket price down last year to around $77/t, from where it climbed to about $177/t today. China�s steel value chain is the main driver, with iron-ore and met coal imports steadily rising. He pointed out that Chinese demand has tipped the balance, pushing prices up over the past 12 months.

Premium quality coking coal has in recent times traded at $209/t, up from $150 in June, and double where it sat for much of 2014 to 2016.
