also dont forget the cobalt income stream, i believe we will produce roughly 1 ton of cobalt for every 6 or 7 ton cu we produce . essentially as a byproduct. cobalt price is about $33000 / ton i believe but was MUCH higher a few years ago. demand should drive price up in next few years. happy new year to all . im confident 2021 will be better than 2020. stay safe until vaccinated.

hi i was under the impression the JV part is only to produce the concentrate which then gets sold to sable. the production of cu cathode and subsequent sale thereof all to jbl. with a cost to produce @ $4000/ ton. does this 4000 include the purchase of the concentrate or merely the cost once the concentrate is bought??

hi all does anybody know how much cobalt gets produced as byproduct per ton of copper produced. also does anybody know if Kalan is ok. he has not been on the board for months now. . i have been trying to work out cash jbl is going to be spewing out and its quite a bit!!
sable in 4 yrs time ..... 25000 tons of copper. current price $6500 /t. costs 4000/t profit 2500/t..........$62 500 000 / year.!
Cobalt $31200/ ton and looks like its going up further...... tonnage?? pgms circa 40 000 oz concentrate / year BBI $ 2000/oz ..profit?
chrome..circa 382000 tons/year........... wait for the next price surge!! lead zinc vanadium..........looks jolly decent to me and i am sitting on my hands.

HOW MUCH COBALT will be produced as a by product?

hi edzi i do realise that . but i just wish they would be a little more straight forward c us. the glaring anomaly in the rns is....how do you dissasemble a plant by end aug ie taking circa 3 months..... and re assemble it 200 miles away by end august. and if dcm are contributing to the costs of disassembly............ what percentage? it means nothing as is .... could be 5% 20% ??

i think we are all being taken for fools on a wild goose chase.......pgm s at dcm....money in the bank....whose bank. no more placings..... few months later massive placing..... kabwe zinc circuit........ nope a copper one instead . how could they predict zinc was going to drop....if they never planned to build it first in the first place!. how much copper did glencore leave at sable for us to process? must be a lot for us to be putting in an unplanned copper circuit first. and now cobalt as well. or has the plan always been to process some yet unnamed mountain of copper in zambia . and the accompanying cobalt? why would you spend money on a copper circuit if you are reasonably assured of a large potential supply of ore?

from the rns in november 2019: The proceeds of the Placing will be used towards the completion of the chrome and PGM transaction at the Company's Inyoni Operations as announced on 24 October and 5 November 2019 and to implement the Company's targeted expansion plans which includes the Kabwe zinc, lead and vanadium refinery project in Zambia, and the roll-out of the Company's successful fine chrome solution at its DCM Fine Chrome Operations to all of its operations, including Inyoni and Windsor.
so i ask you.......what have they been doing from nov until 27 march when lockdown happened . as it looks like they have done nothing as they are only now moving the fc plant from dcm to inyoni/windsor? the placing money was earmarked for this among other things.......what happened to it?
