So refreshing to read Persimmone. I understand that I dont actually own the shares I buy in this online world, but I still donât get how someone else is able to âsellâ them (plus a few) ten minutes after each and every purchase.. and that even applies to the ujo buy backs. Iâm assuming that at some point, at least when the purchaser sells, then the shorted shares must be bought back. I suppose the theory is that the sp plummets, all stop losses are triggered, and purchases get fed up and sell up, all contributing to more sp fall. BUT, what if the company continues to increase revenue, and any big success or change of government stance generates large new interest. Surely at some point of their choosing they need to buy back at least 12M shares. I look forward to the day ( well 3 days of intensive hundreds of buys last time actually).
