Stephan Bernstein, CEO of GreenRoc, details the PFS results for the new graphite processing plant. Watch the video here.
Unfortunately Xophe 13 I have to agree with you. He certainly proved beyond any doubt that public speaking is not his thing. The number of errs, aghss, hmms , in his delivery was quite frightening and did nothing for me to inspire confidence in BEM. It also gave the impression of having spread ourselves too thinly with a great deal of uncertainty in the various outcomes.Like you, I do think it will come good eventually but a long road ahead. All the best.
When all is said and done and the negatives put aside for a moment, it has taken KB just a month to get a new partner on board for the Finland project which might suggest there is no shortage of punters wanting to get involved.
Moan as we may I canoot see any reason for an increase in the share price over the next twelve months.not until the enviromental permit has been granted and the Sami problem put to bed.Good results from the scoping study might help
but only
It is official then. The far right bloc have won with a wafer thin majority which is good for mining and I am sure will not do BEM any harm in the next couple of years. (n0 Greens)
Thank you Andy. That is indeed very encouraging news.We will continue to watch this space.
Best wishes.
Blame blame blame the CEO for what?.Is he getting on with his job or not? Is he responsible for the seven year delay in getting the exploitation licence for Kallak or was that the Swedish Government? (good observation on the greens ADF)
Look at it from another point of you re the state of the share price. If I was a potential investor, did my research and read the negativity on this board then I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole.I can understand it from the trolls who are not invested here and want this to fail but some of us are only shooting ourselves in the foot. If Budge was in this purely for the salary he is receiving from BEM he would have moved on ages ago and taken a more highly paid position in the mining industry which someone with his experience would command but he hasn't and I ask myself why? The answer I come up with is simply because in a few years time when all of this comes together he will become a very very wealthy man, so give yourselves a break. All the best with your investment. (if you have one.lol.)
Thank you Andy for your common sense post. After what has been endured this week, it was a breath of fresh air and after the Finnish news we can be thankful that the share price is where it is and hasn't fallen off the cliff. It speaks well for the confidence in company's future.
I see our resident troll is not only an expert on the future of BEM but also an expert on mental issues and am sorry to hear Eric that you are in need of so much help. Perhaps if you could post your address we could send you our "get well" cards.lol.
It really begs belief all this going on on the sabbath when even the good Lord himself took a break.I suppose it will be more of the same next week.Have a good Bank Holiday all.
Good morning Gambier. I have to say I do not always agree with your posts perhaps even rarely but I must compliment you on your 10:38 post. I think you are spot on.Right on the money. There is no earthly reason why it should move the SP but agreed warrants more drilling.Your best post to date.imho.
Thank you Eric for your comments and I do appreciate your concern.
I get the impression with Kurt that he is one of those individuals who reports when works have been completed rather than reporting on work in progress.Rightly or wrongly i.e. the granting of the licence, reporting on drill results, scoping studies etc. It does seem to be a matter of "no completion" "no news".
Fortunately I belong to the brigade of "no news is good news",
What did Mr.Williams always say.lol.
Good luck and best wishes.
Intersting comments Mayflower. One thing for sure, wheter Kurt reads this board or not, it will not affect the eventual outcome. The information Kurt requires for our next RNS was expected by the end of July (Kurt informed us ) That information was to come from another source i.e. those who completed the drilling with Beowulf assessing the results. If that information is a day or two late in arriving on Kurt's desk I would hardly give him the blame.
Kurt passes on information when he has something to report which I respect.Of course there are maybe some amongst us who would prefer a daily RNS telling us what he had for breakfast etc. but we know he does not waste money unecessarily and only reports when there is something of importance.I particuarly liked the on back in March advising us of our success with the exploitation licence. One like that every six months would do me nicely but there are those who think "no new" is bad news and they are entitled to their thoughts. There is even one who thinks "it isn't good enough" in his opinion and he isn't even a shareholder but winds himself up like a spring.Which of course he is also entitled to do. Unfortunately if Kurt does read this board he will quickly realise what a mixed bunch we are probably making him even more determined to inform only when he has something positive.I know that is how I would react.lol.
Thanks Eric and i repect your opinion.I do think there is a lot going on behind the scenes that we are maybe not privvy to but I do believe he will prove to be a better coordinator than communicator. I just have feeling that the way things are shaping up all three will come together around the same time then watch this share rocket.Hold onto your seats.lol.
All the best Eric.
Thank you Geo for the link as it provided a most interesting read and whereas I admire your optimism re the share price by February next year I see no reason for an increase until Q4 next year or more likely early 2024vwith luck.Until this has passed successfully through the Enviromental Court this share is going nowhere because until we have the necessary permission we have nothing to sell. The sale of Kallak is being closely linked with LKAB which makes perfect sense but I see from your link that they themselves are in the process of appealing against a decision from the Enviromental Court which has gone against them and they being a nationally owned concern at that. Why on earth would they get involved in Kallak at this stage with that being the case.It would be pure insanity. The market has realised this and that is why the share price is back where it is and whatever investors on this board may think, Kurt has absolutely no control over the situation whatsoever and probably no interest at the moment anyway.I would hope that he is far too busy preparing our case for Kallak, ensuring that Finland starts producing in a couple of years as estimated and ensuring that the drill results are ready for Kosovo by the end of the month as promised. This is what he is paid to do and not to influence the share price as some may think. The facts will take care of that and it can be argued we are very fortunate to still be in business after so many years as a non profit making company (through no fault of our own, I must add). There has been a tremendous profit making opportunity for all of us recently and that was to sell at 17p plus and now buy back in at 5p and that is before this share really takes off.I was not one of tose that took the chance unfortunately but I am not blaming Kurt for that.lol.
Stay patient everyone and keep smiling. It will come good.imho.
Thanks everybody for sharing your thoughts. One can sense the frustration and impatience in some quarters and understandably so, but personally I see no reason why the share price should improve before the end of next year.Kurt mentioned Q4 2023 for the submitting of the enviromental application and the Sami still sabre rattling does not help matters.Finland will not be earning by then and good news from Kosovo might add a couple of pence. It looks as though we have at least another eighteen months of no income so what can the short term attraction be? Re the long term investment it surely must be "fill your boots time" imho. gla.
Not a bad RNS from a guy who has been allegedly sitting on his backside reading holiday brochures and no disparaging remarks from our non investors to date. What on earth is going on here?
I think it must be lbjj sneaking in through the back door.
Good post Eric.I do think some of our posters perhaps do not look at all the posts on this board or study in full the communications from the company because I feel that some have missed some very important point.Only an opinion you understand but this appointment tells us exactly what Kurt's long term intentions are for Kallak. There is criticism that Ulla does not have the necessary experience to set up a mine and probably not the required negotiating skills with potential purchasers/investors etc etc. All these skills are completely unnecessray as that is Kurt's domain. What she has by the bucket load are the skills and no doubt the connections to get us through the next stage of the enviromental process.Once achieved, Kallak will be a very saleable product and she can sail off into the sunset. What a wonderful opportunity for her.61 years of age and and able to take her career pension from her current employer, the Swedish government and then able to do another 12 months say with a very nice salary and no doubt a golden handshake in her pocket plus the profit from a shed load of shares? I would say at 62 years of age a win win situation all round.imho.
"Having had a few days to digest the personal background of the new CEO, I fail to see how she fits the next very practical stages of financing, building and operating."
The answer to this one I think is really quite simple. SHE DOESN'T. IKurt is now starting to reveal his cards and this is further proof of his intentions for Kallak. She will quite simply get us through the enviromental process when a "cash rich" partner/buyer can be found (and not before) .That must take the best part of a year which make her 62 and she can sail off into the sunset with a very nice golden handshake plus her government pension of course.Thank you very much.It is all starting to look quite obvious.imho.It will of course mean sitting tight for a little longer which will test the patience of many of us. lol. (except of course, those not invested)
Good post Eric.
Kurt seemed unphased about the conditions Thor set out and at least the process will be decided by law this time and not politics.
Agree FF23.A very interesting RNS and I appreciate we can always read into it what we want but I too think it might give us a clue for the future. It would appear that she has the ideal credentials to get us through the enviromental permitting but not to open a mine.Maybe a short term appointment which suits both parties prior to sale or JV.Food for thought and discussion of course.lol.Atb.
Hope you are ok Suzy.I know you are made of strong stuff but it is still not very nice and uncalled for..lol.
it looks as though the inaccuracy continues with Beowulf reporting that the Sami are sueing Beowulf whereas Kurt clearly states they are sueing the government, which makes much more sense. The Sami are going to try all the delaying tactics they can but I am sure the enviromental process will still continue in the meantime. Why not?
I must comment on how sad it is to see on this board, the insults being hurled at a certain lady who has always been and is a positive contributor on this forum. We don't always have to agree with one another and I for one have always found her remarks playful when criticising but never insulting and I would expect everyone to respond accordingly so PLEASE for the sake of all our friendships, can we have a little more decorum? I have been an avid reader of this forum for many years now but can never remember a time when some exchanges have become so unpleasant.Thank you.
