At a risk of repeating myself. We are in a win win situation. We have been promised a DECISION. Whether it is YES or NO is almost irrelevant. If YES the share price will increase and BEM moves onto the next stage. If NO then we go to court and WIN there- simple. It will of course take longer but we are used to waiting.A court case will be the last thing the government want pre-election and as this will be most certainly planned to be a vote grabber then the answer will be YES. BEM have already taken care of all the environmental issues.
Even if he is not sensible enough Eric, the mere fact of actually giving a decision means they can then be challenged should it be a negative one.We will then win in court.Yes, further delays etc. but according to the law we will win.
Looks like BEM will be in a win win situation very shortly and out of this can't say YES but won't say NO syndrome. .imho.
Sweden recovered slightly. 16p only 1.7% down
To end any war TSP both sides have to come to the table to reach agreement.Heaven knows how many times Kurt has attempted this with the Sami without any response whatsoever.
It will take a positve decision from the government and then both sides will have to sit down to find a way forward,One thing we know for sure and that is mining and reindeer husbandry can co-oexist.
I'll give you 12 out of 11 for that on lbjj. Howl!
I would have thought if the can was going to get kicked down the road again Johnny then the price would have dropped by now and probably by quite a bit.Seeing it as stable as it is at the moment shows a mixture of optimism and caution and who can blame our Swedish investors given this sagas track record.I do think those who predicted 20p + prior to concession were maybe being a little to over optimistic but given how negative our fellow investors can be I think it is a positive sign that it is holding its own.Oh for a crystal ball.lol. Have a good weekend.
Only 10 trades today.Looks like everybody is starting to sit tight and the Swedish jitters seem to have subsided after a nice little tick up today.I wonder if a dearth of shares may push the share price a little higher before news comes?
Thanks PayJJ for your posting. It was good of you despite me falling asleep half way through reading the blah blah blah.We have heard it all before, absolutely nothing new and I fail to see that their arguement is a strong one when it is packed with lies.
Trusting that Thor is not stupid man, I am sure he will see straight through this especially as he has had conversations with our Chairman (who I am sure is very well placed to earn his corn at the moment}. He will be very aware of the facts from BEM's point of view both from him and Kurt, so fingers crossed. As for the Sami, they want their subsidies and don't care where they come from as long as they preserve their traditional way of life by flying their helicopters etc.You really couldn't write the script.
Couldn't agree more lbjj and I hope while he is taking measures to protect their cultural heritage he also reminds them that their 21st, century living costs the Swedish government money and taxes from a new mine are necessary to further that, given Sweden's economic state at the moment. At least that way the Sami would be living off the land in the true sense.lol.
Oops should read That can be AFTER the decision ------
apologies!
Hi Sarup.I guess the question for you is "What do I want out of this?" If it is a quick profit then you can press the SELL button whenever that occurs or when you think you have made enough out of this share. That can be before the decision arrives or beforehand and there is a lot to be said for the latter if profitable. The real value imho is going to come if we get a positive decision and the full value of both the Kallaks has been proven and the value of Finland is also reflected in this share and I guess for we LTHs it easier to sit tight as we have waited so long now to get to this point that another couple of years or more is not going to worry us too much.lol. Good luck with your investment and whatever you decide.
Finland could turn out to be as big if not bigger than Kallak and I think that once the green light is given for Kallak the share price may not retrace as much as we may think. With the rapid progress being made in Finland and the positive vibes from all quarters especially government, I think it will be sooner rather than later that we will see this project reflected in the BEM share price.IMHO.
Found on Swedish Facebook from Yosef Nikzad re KPT in a recent interview.
" could he accidentally revealed that it is a 100% YES? Read through and you will find this-
----- it is not that they get another enviromental test because they have a former minister or prime minister as chairman of the board. They should have the same ENVIROMENTAL test as everyone else"
lbjj
"Yet he has not even said hello to Budge.Don't you consider that odd."
Where on earth do you get your information from?
Are you privvy to all the conversations that Swedish Ministers have and do you honestly think that Kurt would tell us if there had been any contact?
I find the remark incredibly naiive.Atb.
I think the most important fact has been overlooked and that was ADF's point on the CAB.The removal by the government of Mr.Antti.Why would they do that and why at this particular point in time. This is not a coincidence as some may believe. It is simply another piece in the jigsaw to help give a positive decision. His removal, the MI's approval which has not changed in all these years plus our new man K-P T loves mines,I am sorry but I cannot see that all adding up to a NO and as fot the lengthy and thorough investigation - please don't make me laugh. They have had enough information to last them a lifetime and the Sami cannot come up with anything new now. Whereas a positive decision is yet to be given, this is the best position we have ever been in for that being delivered. This is the opinion of a LTH who is very heavily invested and remains so because I have faith in Kallak coming to fruition despite all the twists and turns and set backs we have suffered.GLA to all those WHO ARE INVESTED!
lbjj Why should you concern yourself either way. You are not invested here or do you need reminding?
Good morning Eric. Assuming we get the YES word and the SP does shoot up. I cannot see it dropping back too much because of the potential. The rest of Kallak to be proved and find its true worth, the value of Finland to be calaculated into the SP and the potential of a joint venture will I am sure persuade many to sit tight and wait, particuarly our Swedish brethren and they are the ones driving the price of this share.
However, I agree with you, concession first.Atb.
Suzy and Far End you are both correct. It was stated many moons ago that KN and KS were joined "at depth" I think was the expression used but let's see the approval first.
Thank you TSP for your predictions and I for one would be a very happy bunny if they came to fruition.
Having also met Kurt on a couple of occasions, I thoroughly concur with your description of him.Spot on!
Well done TSP. Good prediction this week.I can think of some who must be bitterly disappointed at such a good result.
As you are in such good form, give us a prediction on where this is like to go if we get the green light in the coming weeks.
ATB.
