Quote from Link;
We will build one million new genuinely affordable homes over 10 years, and ensure every council every year builds or commissions Labour’s new affordable homes.
Who is "We" ?
Who is Labour going to get to build them for an all in price (plot & house) of £83k ?

£83,333 each house. Would they want the big house builders to provide houses including the cost of the plot for this ?

I also heard Labour say they want to many council houses. How will this help Taylor Wimpey ? because I also heard that £1 billion will provide 14,000 houses, A quick calculation tells me that is £71,428 per house. Is that what the Goverment want to pay the builders for houses ? Is that good for builders ? is there any profit in that ?
Hi Nige_W
Im sorry to be a pain again, I know you have explained before but a really can not remember.
I don't understand those numbers and what they relate to.
04/10/19 Rel Price when 04/01/19 = 100:
psn 104, tw 107, rdw 120, bwy 124, bdev 131
psn 114, tw 120, rdw 121, bwy 122. bdev 134.
Obviously not share prices and not P/E ( price to earnings ratio )
Please explain and ill try and remember it this time.
I'm not worried about TW
The much larger Taylor Wimpey, with its wider geographic spread, hasn’t suffered the same pressures as Crest Nicholson, whose focus is on London and the South. Instead of falling profits as the big housebuilder growth boom came to its inevitable conclusion, Taylor Wimpey has enjoyed a considerably softer landing.
