Gm, I have to say I admire your tenacity in countering these strange non invested people who come here every day bashing this share. Most lth's here have gone on to the TG site and left these bashers here to do whatever it is they are doing, amongst themselves. I think, along with the continuous and irritating pop ups, that this bb has had its best days when it was both supportive and informative. Keep up the good work, always enjoy your comments. Good news coming soon.
Lawson post 9.09 10/3/22
"A rise on no news gives people false hope that this has bottomed out. Unless there is a positive RNS, it will fall at terminal velocity by the day's end".
Oh dreary me, didn't age too well did it Lawson
Nice post Demolition and I thought Doctors about getting kicked in the b*****s was very funny. Thank you to Gman for the interview. I thought at first that this would be damage limitation but listening to the three of them, they do come across as calm professionals still working away for the good of the business and seeing the road ahead as being busy and full of opportunities for their ideas. I will be topping up again soon quite substantially. Despite the disappointment of Coyle leaving we pick ourselves up and carry on believing in these guys.
Urbanfox....it doesn't matter where the bottom is. I did explain a little while back about what it means to be a lth. I am in it until it goes bust or I make a lot of money. Few people seem to understand the concept that I am backing a company I believe in. I will still be here when you can buy 100 shares for a penny because I believe in the quality and experience of the people running it. So it doesn't matter where the bottom is.
Half the posts today have gone and must have been 80% yesterday. I don't know what the motives are for removing posts but clearly it is manipulation. It is no longer worth composing anything to comment. The board has disappeared up its own backside with most LTH's going over to TG.
Lex…I suppose AZ has long since given up reading the rubbish written on this board, he has so much better things to do, trying hard to bring his ideas into the market. You say that ‘Employees further the pretence for many over promotes.’ Have you actually been in correspondence with TJ? You say that the TF ‘guys surely can't believe their luck in meeting a desperate AZ so keen to overpay all to further the story’. How old are you Lex? Have you no respect for people? I have been in contact with TJ on a number of occasions over the last year, he built his company over years and thought long and hard and did full dd on his decision to join Syme. You think a respected finance professional with years of experience and reputation would join AZ because AZ was ‘so keen to overpay all to further the story’. What a jaundiced view of people you have. No point in me even starting to mention Jim Coyle, your pathetic argument for high profile employees being that it’s a start up and the majority fail. Anyone new here please note Jim Coyle, Chairman. 2021 to present (HSBC Bank Board 2015- now, M&S Bank Board 2015-now, Supply@MECapital plc Chair 2021, Board and SID of Honeycomb Investment Trust 2015-now, Scottish Water Board 2016-now, Deloitte Oversight Board 2019-now , World First Board Chair 2017- 2019, Lloyds Banking Group 1991- 2015, BP Group 1981- 1990 and KPMG 1977- 1981).
Lex..don’t think he needs the money, or any advice from anyone, let alone someone who spends all day posting rubbish on a penny share he’s not even invested in.
Tony Brown said yesterday that all he could say was that long term investment requires patience. Nobody on here can deny his abilities. Nobody. Jim Coyle, Tom James, Amy Benning etc etc, they would all say the same. It is a young company with a great idea and indisputably very good, very capable people with in some cases quite exceptional experience. Jim Coyle must have one of the finest brains in finance, anywhere! The so called de-rampers here are asked repeatedly, have been for the almost a year I've been here, why? they will never say, it is proof enough they are here that they are fascinated by Syme. It is a bare knuckle ride, but we are in at the very beginning, so so it should be. If Tony Brown tells me its a long term investment and it requires patience, he knows, that is the answer, the holy grail, nothing more to be said, it requires patience. Put your seat belt on and stop checking the sp or this board every two hours. It is going to come good....patience.
