Yea covered costs and a small profit but...ways to go so worth waiting another 52wks to see how Zam progresses from here. I'm not up on the politics of the country and wonder if this could be a stumbling block down the road. Perhaps rev can clue us in as to the stability of the Govt? I read they are pro business so good for us as we are a large employer..... that should curry us a favour or two!!

Near 52wk high guys. Pretty sure we'll be passed 16 in the near future..ie once recent CDC stuff gets rubber stamped by shareholders. Cannot overstate what a transformational deal for Zam this was, allowing us to see off Rainbow and now control ZC & ZH with a clear pathway ahead (exch rates permitting) Current sp nudging CDC price of shares (14) showing how undervalued we were pre deal so well done to those who got in sub 8/9/10. Would have myself but committed to a serial loser atm which refuses to 'come right' for me. So far so good.... here's to 2017 and an uptick all round.

Well we're in a much better place than a month ago that's for sure. Cash positive to expand our operations and essentially debt free has been a game changer. However I worry about the CRP shares as these could pose a significant worry for Z down the line. Still time is on our side but if one is to worry....let's worry early.

The nos to look out for if your interested.... 2015 Revenue.........£100m OP Profit .......£13.2m Net Profit...... £6.70m Net Assets.... £126m Nav per Shr. ..61p A 9p premium to nav seems ludicrous but that's life in the lse casino these days. The nos will be transformed should we keep vat monies but whose prepared to bet on that?

The three way love-in looks busted as the respective parties quarrel over....well most everything. Not for a minute did this silly idea excite shareholders or the market! If that's the best way Rank & 888 can use shareholders cash then there's a lack of common sense at the top of those two companies. Both have much to prove on their own let alone tackle WH just to even up the Lads /Coral merger for that's what this is about. A firm offer has to be made by this week's close unless WH grant an extension to the bidders. This looks unlikely given how far apart they are on price. Reminds me of the cheeky bid for Spo last year that was mostly whim & prayer albeit on a lesser scale.

Results next week (24/8). Nos will be immaterial. Sale of the Pools (if it's still on) & vat news will be on most investors radar. Until the conclusion of vat case monies will be held on deposit pending the inevitable pass the parcel merry go round.

Any take over of WH will probably be of a hostile nature now as the WH board have rebuffed the Rank/888 bid. The whole thing looks opportunistic imo and I very much doubt Rank/888 wish to get involved in a long drawn out battle. Annual cost savings of £100m by 2020 is unlikely to excite WH holders. With a combined £2.2BN debt pile the burden would be too onerous though the major holders of Rank & 888 are supportive of the deal. All three cos shares fell yesterday. Might be time for WH to think about an acquisition of their own.

You win some....but nobody saw that coming! At least you bought back in with every chance of making back your losses ( if any ). Stay patient. I don't think those jobby boys will be letting anyone in lower than 11 so expect another positive day ahead.

Morning all.....Finn Cap has upped it's forecast of Zam for 2017. They now expect Zam to make ebita of £14.3M an 45% increase which sees D/equity fall to the low 20's and free cash zooms to 100%! Transformational indeed especially cashing out those puts!! Interesting day ahead..pity it's a Friday.

Wow! What a day never seen that before in Zam. Near 5.2m shares traded over 158 bargains dealt and c 40% UP on the day. Profit taking absorbed and Zam very much focused on growth from here on in. Rev I'd forgotten the 60 from years back so even with the extra 52.6m shares & conv pref stock your forecast looks reasonable given a fair wind & some help with exch rate.

Glad everyone's bullish on Zam. Brave man rev forecasting 60 in 3 years but heh who knows? This could and should be a game changer for Zam. Tres glad I'm still here and will reasses in 12 months and I'd be very disappointed if we are not 20 by year end.

No...rev you are right to look ahead which is what the mrkt should be doing when the fun & games re CDC is over. Glad I stayed invested....one of my better decisions.

Zam gains new long term holder CDC who'll have 17.5% of the enlarged share capital. Deal allows Zam to purchase ZH & ZC & refinance debt. Quick look seems a good deal.

A standard 'stonewall' response from WH. Could be long drawn out and messy trying to amalgamate 3 boards and who gets the crumbs.
