@Folks - I've made a decision to leave this board - as you know I've contemplating this for a while. So don't be too upset all at once. If you need me to return for a prolonged opinion just make a snide or silly remark or add an expletive to my name etc. etc.
Good luck all
Both the reward and risk are slow. So either a painful death or watch your paint dry.
Good luck.
"Previously, he assumed the banks were holding the baby." - don't tell him it's ugly, sshhhhhh.
You are preaching to the choir :-) You can't teach pipe dreamers - they won't have it any other way.
you're welcome... I'll be leaving this board so can't be bothered to find an updated version myself as it will be taken as another "deramp". But good luck.
Last I heard it was down approx. 5% to 57c.
"unfortunately the filter button causes the Green Coffins." - use the filter and quit the whining.
S/He should be used to after annoying every other board out there.
@Parsley2 blah blah "i'm going to say it, but not going to say the name, okay I said it..." - if you don't like it use the filter.
Come back when you've finished deramping and shorting other stocks.
@LTHCine - then don't make personal and/or snide remarks.
"Read the rest of your local paper John." - there are plenty of other examples from other regions, did you want me to post all of them?
It seems that although the independent cinemas are doing better than the likes of cineworld, they too were relying on "...good nights of James Bond" to keep them going.

Good point, I've seen an article about independent cinemas that's worth sharing in a new post.
Cineworld clashes with workers over being 'cut off' from furlough
What is interesting is the workers statement about making use of furlough till the end of October or the taking advantage of the job support scheme. You guys will have already guessed why ;-)
"We are yet to receive an explanation as to why they aren't taking advantage of the job support scheme to keep their workforce in jobs over the next six months or consulting with their staff about redundancies."

It might not do... very difficult to predict today's end.
@mzeroh its a bloated over leveraged company. Now that covid has hit, the failed attempts at growth are biting. Debt is useful only when the sky is blue and you have growth potential BUT during a deep freeze its very bad news - not good to sugar coat it. PwC certainly didn't.
This could be an epic year end, but next week might be some fireworks again.
Not great.
That's just semantics. In any case he said it in his post @09:11
HL will no doubt be scrutinising the finances.
