Humphries had just wanted out and who could blame him being in his 80s 19 years of work with very little shareholder value.

Its was well known that industry wasn't interested in buying until a 2M oz resource was on the table, yet he still went ahead with the strategic review instead of drilling and increasing the resource number.

That decision put the company back a few years and then we had the the calamity of the TSX and raising funds through a non brokered deal.

Anyways thats history and imho LND will be a different beast going forward.
