Funny isn't it, how less than 24hrs ago, we were watching this trying numerous times to break through the 120 barrier.
And here we are again at roughly the same level, yet we are somehow slightly disappointed!!

I certainly won't be looking to take anything out of here for a long while yet.
But I know a few private investors that always take their 10 - 20%'s and move on. And I have to say, they do quite well by following that strategy. Each to their own.

Agree. Hopefully, this afternoon's shorting lists will show some reductions.

I suppose the higher we get, there will be more people in profit, so we'll be seeing more 10 - 20% profit taking.
That might slow things down a bit.

Same as you Clintek. I broke even at 121. I bet there are loads of us started buying in the 130's, then kept buying as it carried on down!
I don't know what time the latest shorts are released? So far there's no change on any of them.

Having a 10% up day whilst the ftse is on a biggish down day, is quite nice.
Still 3/4 of an hour to go though. We may still get dragged down under 120 by the end of the day.

IF the sells that are holding the sp back are indeed from the shorters, surely it's good that they are having to waste their ammo simply on stopping it going up?? They would prefer to use their ammo on forcing the price down more and more.
