Lots of better garp stocks on the UK market at the moment. I hold a small amount of GRG at £18 but update doesn't sound particularly exciting and doesn't want to make me buy anymore.

Hopefully management will get a refresh and focus on operations / estate optimisation. The rainbow and unicorns annual report that focusses on wellbeing and DEI athe beginning really shows you where the current focus is.

I would say yes. PE of 11 and growth rate of maybe 10%. Would put it on a peg over 1. Buying before the budget at £14 and selling now would be a good result.

£12 to £36 is one thing but but £36 to £108 is quite another! I've sold 20% on way from £9 to current.

Should be noted the at the 1980 was a one day spike as hit the ATH and then dropped once the Hunt brothers had capitulated.

Yes agree. The government will want more of the pie, ASIC will probably creep up, production generally static and no debt so not as leveraged on price as others. Probe Gold while probably great investment isn't producing and will take time and capex to get gold out of the ground. I hold this but am slicing on the way up.

Everyone has gone risk on start of new year. IMB has sold off...even i did to rotate into growth stocks but PE of 8.5 (eps 350) and dividend of 5.5% (167p). It wouldn't really fall in a sell off as so cheap already.

Likely to be a buy back instigated in the coming year i would imagine. New CFO - might bring some optimism.

Old CFO going to private equity. Whos knows they might come knocking to take it out privately.

Castell will stay on as CFO and as an executive director until 31 March 2026, after which he will take up another executive role at a private equity backed business.

Both of these are probably overstated but you can't fight the trend.

Gold and Copper 60% and then whatever diversified contains. The PGMs make up a small amount in this portfolio so need to go elsewhere for those.

For generalists this is a great trust and has further to run whats production updates start coming in from producers. Good times for the next 6 months at least.

What this trust will benefit from is general retail buying trying to buy gold this year. Mainstream investment trust investment in the majors. I'm going to hold as this will climb further.

I own FRES but its highly priced compared to other producers. Santa Cruz is one to look at. This has 5 bagged this year and would be one to look at on a dip.

Starting to pivot from Gold to Silver / Copper in October. Some timing! Management seems to be very intuitive in seeing where the puck is going.

Bigger players maybe be offloading at year end while they rebalance portfolios. Maybe an opportunity.

This commodity cycle has probably another 5 years at least. Maybe a big pull back somewhere if stock market has a wobble but inflation at 3%+, loose monetary policy, gov deficits. Fresnillo has just 3x for me and might only just be getting going with silver heading to $80+

5% oil price decline would only deduct something like 3p off a litre.

On you electric bill 25% is towards subsidies. Maybe more now gas has normalised.

Update doesn't seem that bad to warrant that fall in SP.

They should front load the remaining buy back at this SP level.
