So it looks like we might be in a HH repeat but with a twist.
The twist being the II maybe buying because they have Faith generously provided by SEE and the Pi's are panicking after their faith has been knocked from a great height.

Mr Semicast says SEE looks like a 'Tech Giant' in the making suggests to me 7p is the new HH 3p.

Mr Semicast was obviously very impressed so I see no reason why the II''s should have gone away with any other opinion.

The fact that we have seen no Holdings RNS so far supports that position imo.

So it looks like the Folk at the meeting are Holding and many of the uninvited are Selling presumably to those invited.

Still no holding RNS from @seeingmachines. Only conclusion: SP movement is mostly PIs buying & selling to each other. MMs profit on volumes & thus encourage trading. IIs not doing anything. SM simply has too small a market cap at present for “The Market” to care. For now.

So the point about SEE selling out on the cheap would be pointless as it would be quickly thwarted by a bidding war ?

Safestocks suggests a Bidding war might be on the Horizon. How will that work or be activated and what about the Xilinx connection? or preferred option for SEE? in a bidding situation.

I think Semicast would agree with you S2020 and I don't think his posts are suggesting it is.

Statements like 'If the management is not up to scratch' make no sense to me in the context of what SEE have achieved.

Guardian headunit from @seeingmachines is an automotive grade PC. Biggest component cost will be flash memory ICs (or SSD) to store video footage. Cost of flash memory has SOARED in last 12 mos. & issue exacerbated by fall in AUD to USD over same time.

Can we assume that at the meeting of Aug 6 the Guardian 'headache' was discussed and the 'hard work' elaborated upon and the Analysts and Institutions reassured and reminded of the bigger picture so any ripples ahead would not result in a capsize but instead may offer an opportunity to buy into a future 'tech giant' or a T/O target as the Stop loses were triggered by said 'headache' calling for the Nurse.

I was slightly surprised at the timing of the profit warning this week from Seeing Machines, as it has been clear for some time that Fleet has not being doing as well as expected with delays to Gen 2 and no news of business via Mix Telematics.
It was a point that was succinctly made in the note from John-Marc Bunce, analyst at house broker Cenkos, when he wrote: “The news released yesterday regarding the fleet business is clearly disappointing, especially considering the issues with the Gen2 were first raised in May 2018”.
Given that Fleet (and Rail) have been perennial disappointments there will be a lot of pressure on Chief Executive Ken Kroeger to sacrifice someone. This might go some way to assuaging the anger of investors who’ve seen paper profits evaporate.
Yet, for me, it’s the timing of this announcement that’s of paramount importance. For by smashing the share price down It conveniently clears the way for a low ball bidder to come in and look like a white knight to investors.
I know that such a bid won’t immediately deliver anywhere near the full value that resides in this business – given the importance of its DMS technology to increasingly autonomous cars.
Still, many long-suffering shareholders would probably jump at the opportunity to sell at a very decent profit. Moreover, it ought to ignite a bidding war.

Good summary. Guardian from @seeingmachines has been a headache, but the hard work will have been worth it. No obvious direct competitor, Nauto and Denso offerings don’t come close. Gen2 clearly shipping after earlier supply chain issues.

Fovio chip is a Xilinx Zynq 7000 FPGA. REALLY important to understand that @seeingmachines is a software (IP) company. Guardian is an R&D platform and confuses the picture slightly. SM strategy does not involve becoming an equipment manufacturer (OEM).

Guardian is produced by a sub-contract manufacturer. That is completely unrelated to trends in automotive.
